With just 10 games left in the English Premier League season, this fixture between Liverpool and Man City could very well decide who wins the title. While there may be a touch of hyperbole there, this is a fixture that neither can afford to lose, and given recent form, you'd be hard-pressed to pick a winner.
Man City have beaten the breaks off every team they've come up against since the turn of the year, and they look once again a threat to win a Treble.
Not to be outdone, Liverpool have gotten by just fine without Mo Salah in attack and have not lost since in over a month. The Premier League odds do little to separate the two, but I believe there's one angle we can attack this game from.

There are only so many times I can say this is a massive fixture for both sides before the message starts to fade, but please just humor me once more. This is a massive fixture and right now, given form, given situation, and given who I believe will ultimately win the EPL Title, Manchester City at plus money is the right play.
Manchester City is on an absolute tear right now. They've won five straight fixtures in all competitions and are unbeaten over their last 20 matches with just two draws.
They continue to score goals for fun and the return of Kevin De Bruyne has given City an added killer-instinct element that they were searching for in the early portion of the season. Pep Guardiola has done a fantastic job (as usual) of pushing the right buttons and his side has responded.
As for Liverpool, they've been nothing short of stellar this season, despite being without Mo Salah for the majority of it. Darwin Nunez is rounding into a fine striker, and the team is never out of a game because of it. Just look at some of the late equalizers/winners he's been a part of this season to rescue them.

If Manchester City pull off the win like we expect, they'll need to score. Who better to do so than Erling Haaland? He's scored in four of his last five games including five (!) against Luton in an FA Cup quarterfinal tie.
On the back end, Ederson should be busy. The onus usually falls on the home side to apply pressure and dictate tempo, and Liverpool has plenty of attacking threat to fire plenty of shots on target. Ederson will be up to the challenge, stop at least three shots, and help the City cause.

Manchester City opened at +120 favorites and the line has lengthened to between +120 and +130 depending on your sportsbook of choice. The draw has stayed steady at around +275, while Liverpool has seen their odds lengthen a touch from +188 to +200.
Whenever I can get Man City at a plus-money price, I have to take it as they've got an incredible record as prematch favorites.
The total opened up at 2.5 juiced heavily to the Over, but has since gone up to 3.0 with juice to the Over. Some books are popping up with 3.5 juiced heavily to the Under, so it would not shock me to see a 2-1 victory either way.
