Team USA is off to a perfect start through the first two games of the round robin at the Olympics, and they’ll look to make it three straight wins when they take on Team Germany this afternoon.

Jack Eichel has lit up the score sheet with two straight multi-point outings, and he headlines my Team USA goalscorer props for today’s matchup. Be sure to check out our full USA vs. Germany predictions before puck drop.

Jack Eichel

+120 at Fanatics

Jack Eichel has been Team USA’s best player at the Olympics so far with four points in two games. In fact, the only player with more points through two games played in this tournament is Canada’s Connor McDavid.

Eichel scored his first goal of the tournament against Denmark on Saturday while also logging a game-high seven shots on net. The Vegas Golden Knights star will find the back of the net again today against a relatively weak German squad.

Brady Tkachuk

+165 at Fanatics

Brady Tkachuk has scored in each of Team USA’s first two games of the tournament, with his two tallies tied for third most among all skaters in the Olympics behind Juraj Slafkovsky and Tim Stutzle (both with three).

The Ottawa Senators captain is flanking Eichel and his brother Matthew Tkachuk on a deadly United States forward line that’s already combined for three goals and nine points. That trio will dominate again this afternoon, and Tkachuk will be the benefactor with another goal.

Auston Matthews

-120 at Fanatics

Auston Matthews has had a relatively quiet start to his Olympics with a goal and assist through two outings, but the American captain is due for an offensive outburst.

The Toronto Maple Leafs star has logged 3+ shots in each of his first two games, and I like his chances of beating German goaltender Philipp Grubauer, who didn’t look great against Latvia.

Team Latvia put four by Grubauer on just 22 shots, with two of those coming on the man advantage. Matthews’ lone tally came on the power play, which is where he might be able to do damage today.
