Game 2 Prop #1: Noah Hanifin Over 1.5 blocks (-155)

Noah Hanifin saw extreme defensive usage in Game 1. He played more than 21 minutes for the Vegas Golden Knights and started zero shifts in the offensive zone.

That led to a lot more time spent defending in his own third and, thus, more shots heading toward his net.

Alongside Rasmus Andersson, his pairing was on for 35 Carolina Hurricanes shot attempts. No other defenseman on the roster was on for even 20.

That meant plenty of blocked opportunities for Hanifin, and he made them count with four blocks.

Back him to get at least two up to -170.

Game 2 Prop #2: Taylor Hall Over 0.5 points (-115)

Taylor Hall didn’t hit the scoresheet in Game 1, but there were a lot of good signs under the hood.

Carolina won the shot attempt battle 17-7 and out-chanced Vegas 7-4 during his 5-on-5 minutes.

His power play also generated four shot attempts and three chances in the same amount of time Carolina’s No. 1 unit created one. They saw a 50-50 split in usage — not many second units get that kind of run.

Hall has ranked first or second on the Hurricanes in chance contributions each round, showing his elite involvement in facilitating offense for his line. Playable to -130.

Game 2 Prop #3: Pavel Dorofeyev Over 0.5 points (-120)

Pavel Dorofeyev was held pointless in the series opener, but it certainly wasn’t for a lack of opportunities.

He tied Jack Eichel for the team lead with seven shot attempts and five scoring chances. He also led all forwards on either side with 0.82 expected goals.

Dorofeyev is an excellent finisher, so that kind of output is often going to lead to good things.

Dorofeyev also skates with Eichel at 5-on-5, and plays on a star-studded power play. That gives him real assist potential. Betable to -130.
