The 1-4 Baltimore Ravens face a near must-win situation as they welcome the 3-2 Los Angeles Rams to M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 12.

Forecasts are calling for miserable weather, and L.A. has been a statistical juggernaut through five weeks, so my Rams vs. Ravens predictions and NFL picks expect a long afternoon resulting in a 1-5 start for Baltimore.

Rams vs Ravens prediction

Rams vs Ravens Best bet: Zay Flowers Over 50.5 receiving yards (-114)

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has been the go-to weapon in the aerial attack, and he’s cleared this total in four of five games while catching 28 of 36 targets for 377 yards.

The Ravens are going to need to air it out to keep pace with a Los Angeles Rams offense pacing the NFL in yards per play and offensive success rate. Los Angeles has also averaged 27.3 points per game the past four weeks.

Returning to Flowers, he caught all five targets for 72 yards in backup quarterback Cooper Rush’s first start, and I’m anticipating Flowers seeing plenty of looks in the passing game again.

The go-to receiver has a high-end 28.8% target share and a career-high 6.5 yards after the catch per reception to start the year.

Additionally, let's not forget San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Mac Jones just tossed it around for 342 yards and a 67.3 completion percentage on the road against the Rams on Thursday Night Football in Week 5, either.

The Niners were without their three best wide receivers, too.

Rams vs Ravens same-game parlay

I value Los Angeles heading into this Week 6 showdown following their mini bye after a divisional loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Thursday.

The Rams have been statistical darlings with top ranks in yards per play, success rate and PFF grade, so with Baltimore starting backup QB Cooper Rush again, I have full confidence in Los Angeles pulling away Sunday.

A key reason the Rams have been so explosive on offense is No. 1 wide receiver Puka Nacua. He’s topped triple-digit receiving yards in three of five games and paces the NFL in targets and PFF receiving grade.

With the Ravens allowing the fourth-highest EPA per dropback and fifth-highest dropback success rate, I expect Rams QB Matthew Stafford to connect with Nacua early and often in Week 6.

Rams vs Ravens SGP

  • Rams -7.5
  • Puka Nacua Over 95.5 receiving yards
  • Zay Flowers Over 50.5 receiving yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Williams drawing more looks

Rams No. 1 running back Kyren Williams had a 91% snap share in Week 5, and he has topped 90 total yards in each of the past three games totaling 236 on the ground and 101 through the air.

Rams vs Ravens SGP

  • Rams -7.5
  • Puka Nacua Over 95.5 receiving yards
  • Zay Flowers Over 50.5 receiving yards
  • Kyren Williams Over 89.5 rushing + receiving yards

Rams vs Ravens game predictions

Rams vs Ravens moneyline prediction

Baltimore got steamrolled at home in backup quarterback Cooper Rush’s first start last week, and now they face another nightmare matchup with L.A. in town. The Rams pace the NFL in yards per play, success rate, and overall PFF grade, and better yet, head coach Sean McVay has had the mini bye for extra prep following a disappointing loss to the 49ers on Thursday Night Football in Week 5. The Ravens are set to drop to a dreaded 1-5.

Rams vs Ravens spread prediction

With the spread above the key number of 7, the hook is the only concern. There’s a strong case for the Ravens in what checks out as a must-win game, but they’ve shown no life on defense by allowing the sixth-most yards per play and third-highest EPA per play while ranking 29th in PFF defense grade and 24th in defensive DVOA.

Rams vs Ravens Over/Under prediction

Baltimore has played to the Over in each of its five games this season, and as noted, L.A. has been cooking on offense. While I lean to the Over, I also see a scenario where the Ravens show up defensively with the season on the line, and the Rams win comfortably with their own strong defensive showing.

Rams vs Ravens odds

  • Spread: Rams -7.5 | Ravens +7.5
  • Moneyline: Rams -390 | Ravens +310
  • Over/Under: Over 44.5 | Under 44.5
