The Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens both got back on track in a big way last week after suffering a loss in Week 1.

If this game is anything like those, we should have plenty to bet on in the Lions vs. Ravens player props market.

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 24.5 receiving yards

The Detroit Lions have utilized their backfield well with both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs getting in on the action.

Gibbs was used primarily in the passing game as the Lions played from behind in Week 1, hauling in all 10 targets for 31 yards in Green Bay. He was then limited to just 10 yards on three catches last week, but did rack up 94 rushing yards, including a 42-yard carry.

This should be a high-scoring game, as shown by the 53.5 total, and that’s good news for Gibbs.

The third-year back had at least 25 receiving yards in 10 of 17 games last season, plus in his only postseason game.

Gibbs is a weapon for the Lions, with the ability to score in a variety of ways. He can break free for a long rush, beat you after the catch, or ram it home in the red zone. That’s resulted in him becoming a touchdown machine in Detroit.

The running back has 32 touchdowns in 34 games in his career after racking up 16 scores last season. He found the end zone in 13 of 17 games last season and scored twice in the Lions’ playoff loss.

The Baltimore Ravens have allowed touchdowns to running backs (James Cook and Dylan Sampson) in each of their first two games this season. Gibbs should add to that on Monday Night Football.

DeAndre Hopkins Over 1.5 receptions

-115 at bet365

DeAndre Hopkins is getting up there, but is still a viable option in his age-33 season. The veteran wideout had two catches on as many targets in each of his first two games with the Ravens, and Baltimore is going to need to spread the ball around against the Lions.

Luckily for Hopkins, Detroit has allowed multiple catches to at least three receivers in each of its first two games. The Packers had four receivers with at least two catches in Week 1, then the Bears had three last week.

Hopkins isn’t going to light the world on fire at this point in his career, but he’s more than capable of hauling in two catches. He had at least two receptions in 13 of 16 games last season with Tennessee and Kansas City.
