On Friday, the Houston Texans and franchise icon J.J. Watt made a long-expected move official. The Texans and Watt mutually agreed to part ways, a decision which saw Watt hit the open market a month ahead of free agency. The betting market waits for no one, meaning shortly after news of the decision broke, odds for J.J. Watt's next team were already available.

After a decade spent with one of the NFL's least successful franchises, Watt will no doubt take the time to make his next move the right one. In the meantime, let's take a look at J.J. Watt's next team odds.

Who Is the Favorite To Sign J.J. Watt?

Unsurprisingly, the favorite for Watt's services currently employs two other Watts. The Pittsburgh Steelers, home of perennial Defensive Player of the Year contender T.J. Watt and fullback Derek Watt, lead the way at +150.

Behind the Steelers is a two-way tie at +400 between the Buccaneers, who added a handful of high-profile veterans a year ago on the way to their Super Bowl triumph, and the Packers. Tampa Bay would certainly be a win-now destination for Watt. Green Bay, meanwhile, was the team of Watt's childhood, with the former Defensive Player of the Year born and raised in Wisconsin before playing for the Badgers.

Fourth on the odds board is the Baltimore Ravens (+600), who are no strangers to Hall of Fame defensive players. With Calais Campbell and Matt Judon hitting free agency in March, Baltimore would surely be in the market for help on defense, and their standing as one of the NFL's premier franchises would appeal to Watt.

Rounding out the Top-5 is perhaps the most logical destination outside of Pittsburgh. The Bears (+700) may not have a roster as appealing as the four teams ahead of them, but Chicago has something no other city has: The Chicago Red Stars of the NWSL. Last month, Chicago's women's soccer team made a trade to acquire Kealia Watt from the Houston Dash. That trade could very well have laid the groundwork for J.J. to follow his wife and head from Houston to Chicago.
