The New Orleans Saints aim to keep their momentum rolling in Week 16 as they host the New York Jets, riding a two-game winning streak.

Neither team has shown much offensively lately, which is why I’m taking the Under in my Jets vs. Saints predictions and NFL picks for today's game.

Jets vs Saints prediction

Jets vs Saints Best bet: Under 40.5 (-115)

Anyone who has watched the New York Jets or the New Orleans Saints this season knows that neither team has much offensive firepower. The Saints have struggled to score with either Spencer Rattler or Tyler Shough at quarterback and are now without dynamic running back Alvin Kamara.

Even though NOLA has won three of its last five, the Saints still haven’t scored more than 24 points in any of their last nine games and are averaging just 16.1 points per game this season. Even in victories, they rely on a defense that allows only 17.8 points per game to opponents.

The Jets will be lucky to reach that number. New York’s offense has actually been slightly better than New Orleans’ over the season, but even its 19.7 ppg average is misleading due to a couple of big performances earlier in the year.

With Brady Cook at QB — who has thrown just one touchdown and five interceptions in his first two games — there’s little hope for an offensive explosion.

We’re looking at two offenses that struggle to put up points against anyone, while the Saints are playing excellent defense. That’s more than enough for me to target the Under on Sunday.

Jets vs Saints same-game parlay

Even without a high-scoring affair, the Saints should have enough to beat New York by a touchdown and cover the spread.

I’m also taking wide receiver Chris Olave to surpass his yardage total, as he’s eclipsed this week’s number in six of his last nine games.

Jets vs Saints SGP

  • Under 40.5
  • Saints -5.5
  • Chris Olave Over 61.5 receiving yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Olave Garden

We’re already betting on Olave’s yardage, so picking him to score feels like a natural extension of the SGP, especially since he’s found the end zone in three of his last five games.

Jets vs Saints SGP

  • Under 40.5
  • Saints -5.5
  • Chris Olave Over 61.5 receiving yards
  • Chris Olave anytime touchdown

Jets vs Saints game predictions

Jets vs Saints moneyline prediction

The Saints have won two straight and boast a defense that will shut down a Jets team struggling to score.

Jets vs Saints spread prediction

It’s not as if New Orleans puts up many points, but they should be able to win by at least a touchdown against a New York squad that has back-to-back games by 24+ points.

Jets vs Saints Over/Under prediction

These are two of the weakest offenses in the NFL, and I see no reason for either to break out this afternoon.

Jets vs Saints odds

  • Spread: Jets +3 (+100) | Saints -3 (-120)
  • Moneyline: Jets +160 | Saints -190
  • Over/Under: Over 39.5 | Under 39.5

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
