The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders will face off at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, November 2.

Both teams come into this fresh off a bye week, and both are trying to bounce back off a loss.

My Jaguars vs. Raiders predictions and NFL picks believe that the Jaguars will cover the spread as road favorites.

Jaguars vs Raiders predictions

Here are our early thoughts on the spread and total for this week’s game. We will have a full game preview (with a best bet and SGP) later in the week.

Early Jaguars vs Raiders spread pick: Jaguars -3

-115 at FanDuel

The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders each hired a new head coach last offseason, but it’s the Jaguars that are far happier with their current HC.

Liam Coen & Co. sit second in the AFC South, albeit three wins back behind the Colts, but they’ve had some great moments already this season. We’ve seen the team defeat both the Chiefs and the 49ers.

On the flip side of that, there have been some crushing lows, including a 35-7 demolition vs. the Rams in London last time out.

It's clear that the team is improving and moving forward under Coen. It’s not possible to say that with any certainty about the Raiders yet, with Pete Carroll’s tenure being a disappointment thus far.

They’ve won just two games this season, coincidentally the only two games that they’ve covered the spread in. What’s worse is that they rank third from the bottom in offensive DVOA despite drafting Ashton Jeanty and bringing in Geno Smith.

The Jaguars' offense ranks middle of the NFL in offensive DVOA, and they are also ahead in defensive DVOA (albeit by two spots).

We’ve seen nothing from the Raiders to suggest they are likely to win, or even cover against the Jaguars here, who have at least shown us glimpses of being dangerous at times this season.

Early Jaguars vs Raiders total pick: Under 44.5

-110 at FanDuel

The 44.5-point total feels far too high for a game featuring a bad offense and a mediocre one, especially when both defenses aren’t amongst the worst in the NFL.

Both offenses rank in the Bottom 8 by points per game, with only the Titans scoring fewer than the Raiders’ average of 14.7 points per game.

Coen is struggling to find a way to get Brian Thomas Jr. into games, with reports circling that the team is looking to trade the wide-out. Trevor Lawrence is still experiencing accuracy problems, too.

The Under has been a winner in four of seven games for the Jaguars this season, and an even higher five in seven for the Raiders, with the only two games to hit the Over taking place back in September.

The Raiders' offensive line has been abysmal, which is hampering both Smith is the passing game and Jeanty in the running game.

This tilt is poised to be a low-scoring one, and the total is likely to drop in the coming days, so consider backing this early.
