The Philadelphia Eagles are a sizable road favorite over the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium on Saturday.
Philly is looking to become the first back-to-back NFC East champion since winning the division four straight times from 2001–04, and star running back Saquon Barkley headlines my top Eagles vs. Commanders anytime touchdown picks for this weekend’s tilt.
Find out more in my NFL picks for December 20.
Eagles anytime touchdown pick
Saquon Barkley (-120 at FanDuel)
The Washington Commanders have surrendered nine touchdowns to opposing running backs over the past five games, ranking 26th in rush defense DVOA while allowing the fourth-highest EPA per rush.
It’s a sweet spot for Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. He’s scored in consecutive weeks, is averaging a healthy 4.8 yards per carry, and saw 10 red-zone touches last week against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Commanders anytime touchdown pick
Jacory Croskey-Merritt (+410 at FanDuel)
There was a Week 15 resurgence from Commanders rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, and this is a long number for the back to find the end zone for a second consecutive game. Backfield mate Chris Rodriguez missed last week’s game with a groin injury, and while he’s off the Week 16 injury report, Croskey-Merritt is going to see double-digit carries against the Eagles.
Philadelphia has allowed a healthy 14 rushing touchdowns this season, including three scores to running backs in consecutive losses to the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Chargers, before blanking the Raiders in Week 15.
