Minnesota Vikings -1
It's puzzling to see the Panthers put on the same level as the Vikings, as Minnesota is a better team while Carolina's enjoyed a soft schedule. Not only is Minnesota coming into this one healthy but Carolina isn't on either side of the ball. This number is too short, so I have to take it.
Cleveland Browns -3
The undefeated Arizona Cardinals may not be undefeated for long, because this is an absolutely brutal spot for them. Not only is it a team out west who plays in a dome traveling east into terrible weather conditions, but Kyler Murray injured his shoulder last week. We saw the impact that had to end last season and it's genuine cause for concern.
Denver Broncos -3.5
It's not just that the Raiders parted ways with their head coach ahead of this game but he's also their offensive game-planner and play-caller. We already saw some ripple effects from the leaked emails in their loss to the Bears, and the offense was already struggling, too. The events of the last week will further both of those issues for Las Vegas.
New England Patriots +3.5
This number has gotten far too inflated and being above the key number of 3.0 is great for taking the Pats. Key pieces on the Cowboys' D have their status up in the air for this one, and that's after feasting on weak opponents at home. Happy to take New England here.
Tennessee Titans +6
The Titans, getting six points, at home in a matchup with an inflated number. Buffalo closed as a 3-point favorite in this matchup a year ago and it's now up to six. The lookahead line, before the Bills' win over KC last week, was Bills -3.5. Now up to six, based off what Buffalo did on the road, and I'll go the other way with it.
