The first leg of tonight's MNF doubleheader features the Buccaneers' elite offense against the Texans' stout defense.

Our NFL player prop projections don't expect much from either team's passing attacks, but our best computer picks for tonight's game do feature a handful of players doing damage with their legs.

Buccaneers MNF computer picks

Baker Mayfield Under 1.5 passing TD (-150)

Projection: 1.3 TD

The Texans have one of the better defenses in the NFL, and our projections expect them to limit Mayfield's passing prowess as he's forecasted to not throw multiple TD passes tonight.

Bucky Irving Over 62.5 rushing yards (-110)

Projection: 72.8 yards

Our projections do like Tampa's sophomore RB to have a productive night, getting past his posted rushing total.

Alternate-total bet
70+ yards (+135): Showing solid value.

Mike Evans Under 68.5 receiving yards (-110)

Projection: 68.3 yards

Our projections have this essentially as a coin flip on Evans' total, coming in two-tenths of a yard short of his total.

Cade Otton Over 28.5 receiving yards (-110)

Projection: 28.8 yards

Our prop projections also have Otton right on his posted total, just slightly above his receiving line.

Texans MNF computer picks

C.J. Stroud Over 10.5 rushing yards (-110)

Projection: 17.5 yards

Projections have a favorable expectation for his passing yards, but there's more value in his rushing yards forecast against a number he's topped in eight straight full games that he's played.

Alternate-total bet
20+ yards (+250): Offers a little value, but not an overwhelming must-bet by any means.

Nick Chubb Over 49.5 rushing yards (-110)

Projection: 60.1 yards

After a productive first week, our projections again expect Chubb to rumble his way past his posted rushing total.

Alternate-total bet
60+ yards (+160): Shows some decent value after hitting 60 yards against a tougher Rams defense last week.

Nico Collins Over 5.5 receptions (-130)

Projection: 5.7 receptions

Like Tampa, our projections don't show much of an edge (either way) for Texan pass-catchers, with Collins' reception number slightly above his posted total.

Dalton Schultz Over 35.5 receiving yards (-110)

Projection: 35.9 yards

Another coin flip here too, with Schultz' yardage prop almost directly on his projected total.
