Jason Logan’s expert pick: Bucky Irving 50+ rushing yards
Price: 54% at Kalshi
With a backup QB at the wheel, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ran the ball on almost 51% of their snaps last Sunday.
Bucky Irving got 16 carries for 61 yards in Week 4 despite dealing with a glute injury. Todd Bowles needs to control tempo and clock, leaning into this RB to make life easy on Jalon Daniels and avoid a shootout with Dallas.
His rushing forecasts all sit well above 50 yards on Thursday, with models ranging from 55 to 75 yards on the ground. My projection says 67 yards rushing from Irving.
Josh Inglis' expert pick: CeeDee Lamb 100+ receiving yards
Price: 36% at Kalshi
I'd prefer this prop over the anytime TD at close to even money, as the Dallas Cowboys have run heavily in the red zone with Javonte Williams.
Lamb saw a massive 21 targets last week, the most by any player in the Next Gen Stats era with 45 or fewer routes. His 32% target share is fueled by an offense ranking fourth in PROE, and he's topped 100 receiving yards in three straight weeks.
George Pickens' target share is trending down, while Tampa Bay is dealing with injuries in the secondary. That should put even more targets on Lamb in what has become a high-volume passing offense.
Joe Osborne's expert pick: Over 47.5
Price: 51% at Kalshi
The Cowboys have cashed 10 straight Overs, with those games averaging 58.2 combined points. That’s part of a 17–4 Over run since last season began, and I’m not standing in front of it.
They are, quite simply, a perfect Over team. The Cowboys are averaging 30.5 points per game, while their awful defense allows 28.
They rank dead last in yards allowed per play and just surrendered 7.6 yards per play to Houston. While I expect Dallas to do the heavy lifting here, Jalon Daniels should find enough openings to contribute.
Jon Metler’s expert pick: CeeDee Lamb anytime touchdown
Price: 48% at Kalshi
Kalshi is trading CeeDee Lamb at 48% to score a touchdown on Thursday Night Football against the Buccaneers, and I’ll definitely hit the button at that probability.
I have Lamb closer to a 56% chance of finding the end zone. That number isn’t a hot take. Lamb is trading closer to 54% to score in the broader market, which only reinforces what I’m seeing in my numbers.
There’s a legitimate edge and probability gap here, and we can exploit it specifically at Kalshi.
Kyle LaRusic believes Lamb will open the scoring in his Buccaneers vs. Cowboys touchdown scorer predictions.
