Broncos vs Jets Predictions - Early Picks & Odds for Week 6

Our NFL betting picks expect this early kickoff in London to be a grind of a game. Jason Logan favors the Under while leaning toward the underdog Jets vs. a Broncos squad in a letdown spot.

The NFL’s international series continues with the Denver Broncos taking on the New York Jets inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in Week 6.

Denver is coming off a huge road win at Philadelphia, while New York can’t get out of town fast enough after an embarrassing squash at home on Sunday.

I weigh the opening lines and initial movement, giving my early Broncos vs. Jets predictions and NFL picks for October 12.

Broncos vs Jets predictions

Here are our early thoughts on the spread and total for this week’s game. We will have a full game preview (with a best bet and SGP) later in the week.

Early Broncos vs Jets spread pick: Jets +7

-104 at FanDuel

I’m hesitant to lay a touchdown in a neutral site game considering the Denver Broncos could be ripe for a letdown after beating Philadelphia while playing its second straight away game on the other side of the globe.

But, on the other hand, do I really want to bet on the New York Jets? I’m leaning toward Gang Green for the sake of argument.

This spread has come down to Broncos -7 after opening at -7.5. The Denver offensive line won’t have LT Ben Powers, who is staying home with a biceps injury. Pass protection has been a big piece of the puzzle for Bo Nix and this offense.

The Broncos face a toothless Jets stop unit ranked near the basement in pass pressure, while also giving up 19 passing plays of 20 or more yards – second most in the league. But Denver’s air attack is passive, with Nix averaging the third-fewest intended air yards per game.

I believe the Broncos can control this game but may not have the firepower to pull away and cover this pile of chalk in London on Sunday morning.

Early Broncos vs Jets total pick: Under 43.5

-110 at FanDuel

Denver can chip away with runs and short receptions, moving the chains while keeping the clock ticking. New York runs a similar playbook, with a stricter emphasis on the ground game, and doesn’t threaten many explosive plays downfield.

The Broncos’ defense has lived up to last year’s promise as a stop unit. Denver enters Week 6 rated among the Top 5 defenses in the land, including No. 1 in opponent success rate per play. Foes have been able to convert on just over 30% of their third down attempts and average only 17.4 first downs an outing.

New York’s defense is a work in progress under new head coach Aaron Glenn. That said, Gang Green has run into some very potent passing attacks to start 2025, facing Dallas, Tampa Bay, and Buffalo.

Denver doesn’t have the same downfield pop as those opponents and will be content dinking and dumping its way down the field at Hotspur Stadium. I’ll lean Under 43.5 points.
