If there was ever a get-right team for the Arizona Wildcats to host after suffering their first loss of the season, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are it.

The Cowboys’ coaching staff is literal flux with the ousting of longtime head man Mike Gundy, and the results on the field would reflect that – and a big reason why OKST is a massive 20.5 point road underdog in the college football odds.

Read below for my favorite Oklahoma State vs. Arizona predictions, and other wagering options to consider for your college football picks.

Oklahoma State vs Arizona prediction

Oklahoma State vs Arizona best bet: Arizona -20.5 (-105 at FanDuel)

Oklahoma State has struggled, but that’s only half the story for taking the Arizona Wildcats in what looks like an absurdly big spread.

Arizona is coming off its first loss of the season, a 39-14 whipping at the hands of the 14th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones, but what’s more frustrating is how they lost.

Wildcats’ pivot Noah Fifita threw two interceptions, and the offense turned the ball over on downs twice in the second half.

Throw in a missed field goal to start their opening possession, and there’s plenty to clean up as they return home for a conference game.

Oklahoma State has not been good for a while, having lost 12 straight games against FBS competition. Its only win of the year was against UT Martin.

Defensively, they are last in the Big 12 surrendering 35 points per game, and a whopping 473 yards of offense.

The Cowboys have yielded 600+ yards of total offense twice this season, including last week’s 45-27 demolition against Baylor.

Arizona isn’t even inside the Top 10 in scoring in the Big Ten, but they should be able to have their way in this one.

Oklahoma State vs Arizona same-game parlay

We’ve already discussed the spread and total, but we’re throwing in the first half total of 28.5 and taking the Over.

The Cowboys were blown out of the water in the first half by the Oregon Ducks, who bombed them 41-3 by the half. While more competitive, they were still down 28-20 to the Baylor Bears at the break.

You can argue where Arizona sits between Oregon and Baylor, but they’re a legit good team in the Big 12. I expect them to take care of business early here too.
