The Cincinnati Bearcats hit the road for the first time this season against the Kansas Jayhawks in what will be a big game for two programs looking to kick-start a solid season in the Big 12.

The passing game will be tough to stop for both defenses, and points should come as a result. Find out who I like in my Cincinnati vs. Kansas predictions and college football picks for Saturday, September 27.

Cincinnati vs Kansas prediction

Cincinnati vs Kansas best bet: Over 57.5 (-115)

Depth in the secondary could be a major issue for the Kansas Jayhawks in this game, especially in the first half. Safety Devin Dye is suspended for the first half due to a targeting call in the second half of last week’s game. The other starting safety, Mason Ellis, is also doubtful to play due to an injury.

Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Brendan Sorsby did have some struggles in the opener against Nebraska, but that's a much better defense, and he's played well in the two games since. Against Missouri, this Jayhawks defense allowed 334 yards passing and three touchdowns through the air.

On the other end, sixth-year senior quarterback Jalon Daniels has also been great this year. He's a dual-threat quarterback and will likely be utilized more with running back Daniel Hishaw Jr. doubtful to play with an injury. Cincy allowed 274 yards passing to Bowling Green a few weeks ago.

Cincinnati has allowed 20 points twice this season despite not facing an offense anywhere near the level of Kansas thus far. Kansas allowed 42 points in its one tough game this season. I expect a very high-scoring game with lots of success in the passing game for both teams.

Cincinnati vs Kansas same-game parlay

To add to the Over, I'm going to take both quarterbacks to hit their yardage total and Bearcats wideout Cyrus Allen to hit his receiving total. Allen has surpassed this number in every game this season.

Let's add tight end DeShawn Hanika to find the endzone for the Jayhawks. He has three touchdowns this season on 10 catches, so he'll be the red-zone target.
