Ponnaiya's prediction: Michigan's All-American forward will shine under the bright lights of the Final Four.

Yaxel Lendeborg has been the straw that stirs the drink for the Michigan Wolverines this season, leading them into their Final Four matchup against Arizona on Saturday.

My Michigan vs. Arizona predictions are backing Lendeborg to stuff the stat sheet in this highly anticipated clash of titans.

Check out what I’m betting in my March Madness picks and Yaxel Lendeborg player props for April 4.

Yaxel Lendeborg best bet vs Arizona: Over 18.5 points (-105)

Yaxel Lendeborg spearheads the Michigan Wolverines’ explosive attack, averaging 15.2 points per game on 52/38/82 shooting splits.

That average is actually a bit suppressed since Lendeborg tends to play fewer minutes and take fewer shots in blowout wins, which Michigan has had plenty of this year.

The Big Ten Player of the Year has carried the scoring load more in the NCAA Tournament, where he's 27, 23, and 25 points over the last three rounds.

While the Arizona Wildcats have an elite defense, they play at a blistering tempo which leads to higher stats across the board. Lendeborg has also stepped up against the best frontcourts and defenses he's faced.

Lendeborg is fresh off a 27-point performance against Tennessee’s massive frontcourt and also scored 20+ points against Duke, Purdue, Gonzaga, and Michigan State (twice).

Yaxel Lendeborg same-game parlay

Lendeborg is more than just a scorer. He's also an excellent passer who has dropped 4+ dimes in three of his last four contests.

With how well Arizona defends the interior, expect Lendeborg to drive and kick the ball out to perimeter shooters. That should result in open looks for Trey McKenney, who has drained more than 1.5 threes in seven of his last eight 11 games.

With Lendeborg filling up the hoop and finding open shooters, the Wolverines will clear their team total for a fifth straight game.
