The NCAA basketball slate for Wednesday is headlined by a clash between the No. 4 Arizona Wildcats and the No. 3 UConn Huskies.
The Wildcats have relied on freshmen to carry their offense and my Arizona vs. UConn predictions expect that to lead to scoring droughts tonight.

Arizona vs UConn best bet: Arizona Team Total Under 73.5 (-115)
The UConn Huskies are 4-0 with their first three wins coming in dominant fashion against low-major foes. They were finally tested against No. 7 BYU last Saturday and withstood a late rally to hold on for a 86-84 victory.
The Arizona Wildcats are also 4-0 and are fresh off a win against No. 15 UCLA. They edged the Bruins 69-65 despite an ugly performance from standout freshman Koa Peat. The five-star forward leads the team with 16.3 points per game but had just seven points with six turnovers.
Expect Peat and the Wildcats offense to struggle again versus a UConn squad that has elite length and physicality, and ranks 16th in the country in adjusted defense per KenPom.
The Wildcats sit outside the Top-200 in turnover rate and have poor spacing, ranking just 357th in three-point rate. They need to get inside to score and have relied on offensive rebounds to generate second chances.
However, the Huskies are ninth in the country at defending the rim per ShotQualityBets while ranking 14th in defensive rebound rate.
The Wildcats also like to push the pace but we saw against UCLA that they can be slowed down by teams that can control tempo. The Huskies have the ability to slow opponents to a crawl and they will hold Arizona's offense in check in Storrs.

Arizona vs UConn same-game parlay
The Wildcats also had high expectations for another five-star freshman in Brayden Burries. However, the shooting guard has been a disappointment, scoring fewer than 10 points in three of four games. In two contests against power conference foes he has combined to shoot just 2-15 from the floor for eight points.
Reed is an excellent center but he's coming off back-to-back games where he failed to eclipse this number. He finished with eight rebounds in 34 minutes against BYU and coach Dan Hurley said that he'd prefer to play him 26-28 minutes in these games.
In addition, Arizona is the best rebounding team and has the biggest frontcourt he's faced this season.
