The two worst teams in the Eastern Conference kick off Sunday’s NBA slate, as the Washington Wizards are in Indiana to battle the Pacers.

Wizards vs Pacers best bet: Pacers -8.5 (-105)
It’s hard to believe this is the same Indiana Pacers franchise that was just a half away from an NBA Title a few months ago.
Now, they’re in the dregs of the Eastern Conference at 6-19, enduring a year from hell where they won’t have Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles). His, combined with a rash of other injuries, has forced the Pacers to use 22 different players already this season.
The injury woes continue into Sunday, as Andrew Nembahrd (calf) and center Tony Bradley (quadriceps) are questionable. Ben Sheppard (calf), Aaron Nesmith (knee), and Obi Toppin (foot) are out indefinitely as well.
But Indiana is playing better ball, winning four of six before being stopped last game by the 76ers 115-105. This is certainly a gettable one against a Washington Wizards team in a full-scale teardown. The Pacers stomped them out in the first meeting, a 119-86 beatdown.
Washington has lost four straight, allowing at least 130 points in each of the last three games. The Wiz allow a league-worst 128.3 points per game, with teams shooting 48.5% from the field and 37.7% from 3-point range.
That will certainly help a Pacers’ side that scores at the league’s second-lowest clip of 111.0 points per game.
Indiana has won six straight against Washington, and despite just four wins in its last 10 overall, the Pacers have gone a solid 7-3-0 against the spread.
The Wiz have failed to cover in four of their last six, and just one of their last five losses have stayed inside single-digit range.

Wizards vs Pacers same-game parlay
Pascal Siakam is one of the few bucket getters the Pacers have, and he’s been on a good run lately, scoring 20+ in 12 of his last 13, topping the Over line of 25.5 points five times.
That streak includes a game against these same Wizards, when he scored 24 points. Expect him to be around this number again.
Andrew Nembhard is coming off a 1-for-2 night from 3-point range against Philly, the second time in three games he’s been held to Under two makes. In his career, he’s yet to hit two triples in a game against Washington.
