Prop #1: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 31.5 points
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is playing exactly how a reigning league and Finals MVP would. The superstar is averaging 32.6 points per game, which ranks second in the Association.
He’s cashed the Over in points in three of his last four appearances, scoring 33 against the Dallas Mavericks and 38 against the Warriors. SGA had just 28 on Wednesday night, but blame his team being too good for that one.
Gilgeous-Alexander did hit the Over in points in two of his previous NBA Cup outings, and he'll show out once again.
Prop #2: Victor Wembanyama Under 18.5 points
Normally, I wouldn’t be confident enough to take Victor Wembanyama to score Under 20 points in any game. However, we need to take into account the Spurs phenom is returning from a month-long injury tonight.
While this game is crucial, San Antonio also won’t be pushing him to play heavy minutes, and his workload likely won’t be as huge as usual.
Also, the Spurs are facing the Thunder, the reigning champions who have the ability to lock up anyone. Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein are physical enough to give Wemby issues.
He’ll have a quiet night in Vegas.
Prop #3: Jalen Williams Over 5.5 assists
Jalen Williams recently made his season debut after rehabbing an injury, and his assist numbers are currently a career-best, averaging 6.2 dimes across six appearances.
The Santa Clara product had five dimes in the quarterfinals against the Suns, but just days prior, he dished out eight in a victory over the Utah Jazz.
Williams is a key playmaker for OKC, and he’ll do his part tonight.
