NBA Parlay Picks: Odds, Predictions & Best Bets for Tonight’s NBA Playoff Games

Boston has dominated the first half in each game vs. New York thus far, making Cetlics' first-half spread a wicked parlay leg.

It’s a high-stakes Saturday in the NBA Playoffs, as both games are dripping with intrigue.

I’ve lined up the betting action for both Game 3s and have pieced together a nice three-leg parlay for your enjoyment, using my favorite NBA picks for May 10.

Today's best NBA Playoff parlay: May 10

Celtics first half -4

Celtics/Knicks Over 205.5

Timberwolves/Warriors first half Under 97

Pick #1: Celtics first half -4

Like the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, the Boston Celtics are at their last stand. However, their problems are more in the second half than the first, where they’ve led after 24 minutes both times.

In Game 1 vs. the New York Knicks, the Celtics led 61-45 at intermission, and 50-41 in Game 2. Their problems have been a stagnant offense in the second half, as New York’s defense tightens and its shot-making improves.

Boston shouldn’t change its early approach. With the added pressure of falling down the insurmountable 3-0 hole, it’s hard to see the C's not take it to the home team early (again).

Pick #2: Celtics/Knicks Over 205.5

Boston can’t be as bad offensively as it has been the last two games. The Celtics are averaging a woeful 97.5 points per game, shooting 35.6% from the field and 25% from 3-point range.

I just can’t envision the defending champions not finding their way out of this funk to make this a series. Yes, Kristaps Porzingis is dealing with an illness, but the other bones of this title team are intact.

Jayson Tatum is shooting a bizarre 28.6% so far in this series, while reigning Finals MVP Jaylen Brown is at 34.9%. If either of them puts together a decent game, that should be enough to give Boston a decent output and, in theory, lift New York and Boston to an Over.

The 205.5 line is by far the lowest scoring line these teams have been given in the last 10 meetings, 5.5 points down from Game 2’s 211 line.

Pick #3: Timberwolves/Warriors first half Under 97

Without Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors put up just 39 first-half points in Game 2 and found themselves down 17.

Jimmy Butler doesn’t look right since injuring his back in Game 2 against Houston, so Playoff Jimmy is more like role player Jimmy at the moment, leaving no sure-fire offensive threat for the Dubs to turn to.

The Minnesota Timberwolves haven't been offensive gangbusters, either, as they’re shooting just 31.8% from 3-point range. Fortunately, they’re a Top 3 team in paint scoring at 50.9 per contest.

These teams have yet to combine for 97 points in a half this series, and I don’t expect an offensive masterpiece in the first half of Game 3, either.
