Grizzlies vs Knicks Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

The Knicks have been handling their scoring at home, but their shaky defense could give Ja Morant and the Grizzlies the space they need to get their offense back on track.

The New York Knicks continue their strong run at home with the Memphis Grizzlies coming into Madison Square Garden.

New York has been rolling through opponents during this seven-game homestand, and while the offensive output jumps off the scoreboard, the defense still hasn’t fully come together.

Memphis hasn’t shown much life offensively, but there should be opportunities to exploit those defensive lapses in my Grizzlies vs. Knicks predictions.

Let's break down my NBA picks for Tuesday, November 11.

Grizzlies vs Knicks prediction

Grizzlies vs Knicks best bet: Over 231.5 (-110)

If the New York Knicks don’t start tightening up defensively, it’s going to catch up with them. For now, they should still hold an edge against a Memphis Grizzlies team that has struggled to find any consistency this season.

When your franchise player is off, the entire team feels it. Ja Morant hasn’t looked like himself, averaging 19.2 points per game while shooting just 35.8% from the field and 14.8% (8-for-54) from deep.

Among players with at least 100 field-goal attempts, his overall shooting percentage is the fifth-worst, and among players with at least 50 threes attempted, he ranks last in 3-point accuracy.

However, the Knicks defense hasn’t discouraged shooters. New York is giving up 39.5% from three - the fourth-worst rate in the league - and opponents have shot 40.6% from deep over the last five games. That could be exactly what Morant and the Grizzlies need to find some rhythm.

Offensively, the Knicks remain reliable, hitting 38.3% from beyond the arc, the seventh-best clip in the NBA.

With New York continuing to score efficiently at home and Memphis likely finding opportunities against this vulnerable defense, the Over is the play with both sides expected to put up points.

Grizzlies vs Knicks same-game parlay

There aren’t many teams that can serve as a confidence booster right now, but the Knicks offer that opportunity for Morant to put together a solid showing.

To close out the parlay, take the Knicks to cover the -9.5. They’ve won each of their last four games by double digits, while Memphis has suffered lopsided defeats in five of its seven losses.

Lay the points with New York.

Our "from downtown" SGP: Brunson runs circles around Grizz
