The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to bounce back from a home loss as they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday afternoon.

Memphis has had trouble even staying close in games lately, and I’m taking Cleveland to cover at home in my Grizzlies vs. Cavaliers predictions.

Let’s break down tonight’s matchup in my free NBA picks for Saturday, November 15.

Grizzlies vs Cavaliers prediction

Grizzlies vs Cavaliers best bet: Cavaliers -11.5 (-110)

The Cleveland Cavaliers looked sluggish against the Toronto Raptors in a 126-113 loss on Thursday, the second time they’ve lost to the Raptors this season. But Cleveland is 8-3 against the rest of the league and has an excellent chance to get right against Memphis tonight.

The Memphis Grizzlies have lost seven of their last eight games and haven’t been close in many of those defeats. They’re coming off a 36-point loss to the Boston Celtics, which came a day after the New York Knicks beat them by 13. Memphis has failed to cover in nine of its last 10 games, including losing ATS twice as a double-digit underdog in its current three-game losing streak.

Memphis hasn’t excelled offensively or defensively, but it’s been the defensive woes that have hurt it lately. The Grizzlies have allowed more than 130 points in each of their last two games, while only putting up 107.4 ppg over their last seven. Injuries haven’t helped, with Cedric Coward again doubtful to play tonight and Zach Edey listed as questionable as he attempts to return from offseason surgery.

The Grizzlies aren’t in a position to compete with Cleveland, which is largely the same team that went 64-18 last year. I’m taking the Cavaliers to cover.

Grizzlies vs Cavaliers same-game parlay

Along with expecting the Cavaliers to win this game in a blowout, I’m also taking the Over, as Cleveland has hit the Over in six straight games. With the Cavs lighting up the scoreboard, I’ll take Donovan Mitchell to hit the Over on his scoring total, as he’s averaging 30.5 ppg and is up to 32.5 ppg so far in November.

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Outside of gambling, Ed is an avid curler who competes in mixed doubles on the World Curling Tour and runs a popular curling YouTube channel, Chess on Ice. That experience has come in handy during the Olympics, when he has proven to be a successful curling bettor as well.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
