The Cleveland Cavaliers come into tonight’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers as massive favorites on home court, but I’ve got my eye on Clippers center Ivica Zubac.

The L.A. big man has been a monster on the glass, and I believe he’ll be able to take advantage of a mismatch against the Cavs.

Keep reading for my Clippers vs. Cavaliers predictions and NBA picks for tonight's game.

Clippers vs Cavaliers prediction

Clippers vs Cavaliers best bet: Ivica Zubac Over 12.5 rebounds + assists (-120)

The Los Angeles Clippers earned just their fifth win of the season last night as they trounced the Hornets 131-116. They’ll face a much tougher test tonight when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers, but center Ivica Zubac should still have a good night on the glass.

Zubac is averaging 11.3 boards per game this season, the fifth-best mark in the NBA, while also dishing out a couple of dimes per contest. The Clippers center has been even more dominant over the last couple of weeks, snagging a massive 12.7 rpg in November.

Zubac has recorded Over 12.5 rebounds + assists in five straight outings and eight of his last nine. He might top that number with boards alone tonight vs. the Cavs, who rank 18th in rebounding.

Cleveland has also been good at forcing misses, ranking 10th in the NBA in opponent FG% (45.9%), so Zubac will have plenty of rebounding opportunities on the offensive end.

Clippers vs Cavaliers same-game parlay

Donovan Mitchell and James Harden have both been popping off lately, averaging 31.5 and 29.1 ppg, respectively, this month.

Mitchell has scored Over 27.5 points in eight of his last 10 contests, while Harden has recorded Over 24.5 points in five straight.

Clippers vs Cavaliers SGP

  • Ivica Zubac Over 12.5 rebounds + assists
  • Donovan Mitchell Over 27.5 points
  • James Harden Over 24.5 points

Our "from downtown" SGP: Stars shine in Cleveland

The Cavaliers are just 5-12 ATS this season, but they’ll basically meet their match tonight against the Clippers, who are 5-11 ATS.

However, L.A.’s ATS +/- is at -6.5, the second-worst mark in the NBA. The Clippers have also lost by 10+ points in eight of their 11 defeats.

Give me the much better team to cover the spread at home.
