Ryan Blaney has been in fine form, but our NASCAR betting picks tell you why you shouldn't sleep on Penske teammate Austin Cindric at Michigan this Sunday.

Although the State of Michigan might not be pumping out as many sought-after “American-made” cars as it once did, that doesn’t stop the NASCAR Cup Series from showing up to Michigan International Speedway every year for some good ol’ racin’ action.

My NASCAR race picks for the 2025 Firekeepers Casino 400 are centered around Chase Elliott, a man who has been pretty good at Michigan throughout his career. I’m also looking to put some coin on Ford driver Ryan Blaney. And, to those who say I need to start betting on Austin Cindric, your wish comes true today.

Read all about my free betting picks below, so when the green flag flies at 2 p.m. ET this Sunday on Amazon Prime, you’ll be ready to go!

  • Top 10 Finish: Austin Cindric (+240)

NASCAR Firekeepers Casino 400 props and best bets

Top 10 Finish: Chase Elliott (-150 at bet365)

I usually hate taking bets that are over of the price -125, especially props. But in this case, getting Chase Elliott at -150 to finish in the Top 10 at Michigan International Speedway seems too good to pass up.

Elliott has an outstanding track record at Michigan, with a 71.4% Top-10 finishing rate (10 top 10s in 14 starts) and a career average finish of 7.7 at the track — the best among all active drivers with more than five starts.

So far this season, Elliott has finished every race. He’s been more controlled in his driving and he's not a lunatic when making big moves.

He’s got some pop to him, and I reckon he will break free in the Cup Series soon. Why can't Michigan be that place?

Getting -150 seems like a good price to me. I have the price closer to -225.

No doubt this could be a bad bet, especially if qualifying doesn't go Elliott’s way, but I’ll roll the dice on it anyway. There's too much value on the table.

Top 5 Finish: Ryan Blaney (+125 at bet365)

Ryan Blaney has been kind to his backers as of late, and the wiseguys have taken notice.

Sharp money seems to be loving Blaney props this week. The Top 5 line has dropped from +150 when it was first posted to +125.

And I can see why that's so: Blaney has had an 8.25 average finish over his last four Michigan starts, including a win in 2021 and two Top 5s during that span.

He also has five Top 5s in the last seven Cup races and won last weekend in Nashville, so you know he’s in good form.

I wish I could've snagged him at +150. That would mean more money from me, but beggars can't be choosers. I'll take this bet down to even money. Blaney could be game to grab another win on Sunday.

Top 10 Finish: Austin Cindric (+240 at bet365)

If you've been paying attention to the NASCAR broadcasts, Cindric’s name has been getting more airplay lately.

Seemingly, he’s always rocking a fast car. In fact, Cindric has shown impressive speed this season, especially at high-speed, equipment-centric tracks similar to Michigan.

He has a Top 11 average running position in four of the six comparable races this year and finished sixth in Las Vegas.

I personally have this priced closer to +180, so I’ll give Cindric some wagering respect this weekend and hope he can contend for a Top 10 placement.
