NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 long-shot predictions
Sleeper pick to win: Chase Elliott
+1100 at DraftKings
Chase Elliott enters this year’s Coca-Cola 600 ranked fifth in average finish among active full-time drivers at Charlotte Motor Speedway (95.1). He’s also second in average finishing position (12.9) at intermediate ovals.
Elliott has led multiple laps in nine straight races at this course, with a high of 86 laps led in 2022. He led 28 laps in his victory here in 2020.
The No. 9 pilot has two wins already this season, including Texas, an intermediate oval. He’s third in average finish in 2026, as well.
Sleeper pick to win: Carson Hocevar
+1500 at DraftKings
Carson Hocevar had an average rating of at least 85 in four straight races prior to Watkins Glen and the All-Star Race. That includes his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series victory at Talladega.
Hocevar’s frequently managed to find the front at intermediate tracks, leading at least one lap in 10 of his last 13 chances.
The No. 77 pilot ran seventh at Texas, the last intermediate track NASCAR visited, back on May 3.
Hocevar qualified poorly in both prior starts at Charlotte, but he’s taken his qualifying game to a new level in 2026 (third in average starting position) so he shouldn’t have to make up as many spots in this year’s Coke 600.
Sleeper pick to win: Brad Keselowski
+2500 at DraftKings
Brad Keselowski is a two-time winner at Charlotte, and ranks sixth in average finish among active drivers.
The grizzled veteran is not just coasting on past results either, finishing second and fifth, respectively, in the Coke 600 over the last two years.
Keselowski hasn't won at an intermediate track since 2020, which is shocking when you consider he's amassed 34 Top 10s in 71 races since that 2020 Charlotte triumph. That includes a runner-up at Darlington and two additional Top 10s this season.
