Is there anything better than a winner-take-all game in October?

The New York Yankees rallied late in Game 2 to force a deciding Game 3 against the Boston Red Sox tonight at Yankee Stadium.

Aaron Judge and Trevor Story have been huge for their respective clubs and they’ll highlight my MLB player props and Red Sox vs. Yankees predictions for Game 3.

Red Sox vs Yankees player prop picks

Prop #1: Aaron Judge Over 1.5 total bases

-110 at BetMGM

After a two-hit outing in Game 1, Aaron Judge followed that up with another two knocks plus an RBI in Game 2 to help the New York Yankees stay alive.

This prop has been my bread and butter throughout the series and I’m going back to Judge one more time with the series on the line.

Going back to the regular season, the Yankees star carries a seven-game hit streak and has recorded Over 1.5 total bases in six of those contests.

The right-hitting Judge fared slightly better against lefties this season with a .341 average and .789 slugging percentage (.328/.658 vs. RHP), so I like his chances against Boston Red Sox starter Connelly Early.

Prop #2: Trevor Story Over 1.5 total bases

+130 at BetMGM

If there’s been one headline for the Red Sox offense in this series, it’s been Trevor Story.

The Red Sox shortstop had two hits and scored a run in Game 1 and followed that up with an even bigger performance in Game 2 as he hit a two-RBI single in the third and added a solo homer in the sixth.

Story notched 25 total bases vs. the Yankees in the regular season – his highest total against any single team – and has hit 2+ total bases in each of his last three meetings vs. New York.

Prop #3: Alex Bregman Over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI

-103 at BetMGM

Alex Bregman has been dealing with an illness this postseason but that hasn’t seemed to slow down the Red Sox third baseman one bit.

Bregman came up huge in Game 1 with two hits, one walk, and an RBI in Game 1 and added another hit and base on balls in Game 2.

The 31-year-old is batting .429 with a .556 on-base percentage in the series, reaching safely in five of nine plate appearances.

The two-time World Series winner has been here before and should thrive in tonight’s winner-take-all game. Expect Bregman to be patient at the plate and lead by example.
