Games are firing all day, so let’s pepper the board.
I’ve got looks from the afternoon slate all the way through the final pitch of the night, with Juan Soto, Ben Rice, and Shohei Ohtani all finding themselves in juicy spots.
Buckle up, because we’re looking to stay busy from first pitch to the late-night sweat.
Read on for our MLB player props and MLB picks for Wednesday, June 3.

Ben Rice Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, RBI (-120)
The New York Yankees' young star in the making finds himself in a great spot against Cleveland Guardians right-hander Gavin Williams. The Cleveland starter brings a below-average matchup profile into this one, with concerning ISO and hard-contact numbers.
Meanwhile, Ben Rice grades out as the highest-rated hitter in the matchup according to Batters-Box.
On top of that, Rice has been crushing right-handed pitching this season, sporting a 1.066 OPS and a 19.05% barrel rate. Over his last five games, he also owns a ridiculous .620 wOBA.
On the other side, Williams has been allowing a ton of hard contact to left-handed hitters, especially on the road, where they are generating hard contact at a 47.3% clip.
Across the last 60 lefties he has faced, opponents have produced a 51.2% hard-hit rate, 11.6% barrel rate, and 58.2% elevation rate while posting a .378 xBA and .639 xSLG.
Not to mention, nearly half of Williams' pitch mix grades below league average, according to FanGraphs. Rice also owns 83.9% arsenal coverage against Williams' entire repertoire, giving him plenty of opportunities to do damage.
I wouldn't play this prop any higher than its current number. Rice's recent trends aren't the sexiest, but trends aren't the end-all, be-all. This is still a fantastic spot for the young slugger.
And while you're at it, sprinkle a little something on the home run prop too.

Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-135)
Out of the gate, if you can find a better number, I would sprinkle the double and home run props as secondary looks with a ton of upside. However, if you're in the juice-paying business, it's a great day to back the Great One's bases.
Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani finds himself in another fantastic spot against Arizona Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen, who owns the worst pitcher rating among today's starters in the current Batters-Box ratings.
Gallen enters with poor marks in matchup wOBA, ISO, hard contact (nearly 60%), and strikeout rate.
Today marks Ohtani's 129th elite-rated road game over the last three seasons. Across the previous 18, he has cleared this prop 58.59% of the time while leaving the yard in 28.13% of those contests. Even more impressive, he has recorded 2+ total bases in eight of his last 10 elite-rated road games.
As for Gallen, as mentioned earlier, he has been allowing a ton of hard contact. Over the last 60 left-handed hitters he has faced, opponents are producing a 52.2% hard-hit rate, a 10.9% barrel rate, and a 41.3% fly-ball rate.
To make matters worse, only 14% of Gallen's pitches grade above league average. Ohtani owns the second-highest arsenal coverage rating among elite-rated hitters on tonight's slate.
Again, if you're looking for an alternative angle, I prefer sprinkling Ohtani to record a double and a home run rather than laying heavy juice on 2+ total bases at -135.

Juan Soto Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, RBI (-113)
It’s tough for me to ignore trends when they’re this juicy, and New York Mets star Juan Soto brings some absolutely delectable elite-rated trends to the table. In 213 elite-rated games over the last three seasons, Soto has cleared this number nearly 60% of the time.
He’s also cashed this prop in six of his last 10 elite-rated games, per Batters-Box.
This afternoon, he draws Seattle Mariners right-hander George Kirby, who brings below-average hard contact and strikeout metrics into the matchup.
Pair that with Soto’s 54.5% hard-hit rate and 22.7% barrel rate over his last 30 plate appearances against right-handed pitching, and he should be in a prime spot to do some damage.
With Soto always likely to draw a walk, his HRR prop is generally the safer route. If you’re hunting for plus money, though, I’d look to the total bases market.
