There’s a healthy 13-game slate Thursday in Major League Baseball, which means a bevy of MLB player props for you to choose from.

We’ve done some digging on our end and think these three are worth a little sprinkle.

Check out these free MLB picks, starting with New York’s big bopper, Pete Alonso.

MLB props for June 5

Pete Alonso 1+ RBI vs Dodgers (+105 at Caesars)

Pete Alonso is coming off a monster performance Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers, going 2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI, and a pair of runs scored.

June has already been a productive month for the 30-year-old, who has hits in three of four games, but more importantly, has 10 RBI over those contests.

Alonso draws Landon Knack in the series finale, and while he hasn’t faced him much, he does have a Knack for hitting him (sorry, couldn’t resist).

In four career at-bats, Alonso is 2-for-4 with a home run and a pair of RBI. This sets up nicely for him to have another big day at the plate and help us cash the first of three MLB picks

Trea Turner Over 1.5 hits vs Blue Jays (+190 at Caesars)

There wasn’t much offensive action in Toronto’s 2-1 win over Philadelphia on Wednesday, as each team picked up five hits.

None of those were from Trea Turner, who failed to pick up a hit for the first time in seven games.

Still, the Philadelphia Phillies’ shortstop, who’s 14th in hitting with a .300 average, has been making great contact of late, with hits in 14 of his last 18 games.

Normally, a prop for offense against Toronto Blue Jays starter Chris Bassitt isn’t a go-to, but the righty has been roughed up in back-to-back starts by the A’s and Rays, giving up five earned runs in each.

Turner has also hit Bassitt well, albeit over a small sample, going 4-for-9, with a .444 clip, the best average of any Phillies player against Bassitt.

Jackson Merrill Under 0.5 hits vs Giants (+190 at Caesars)

San Diego Padres outfielder Jackson Merrill picked up a hit Wednesday in San Diego’s 6-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants, giving him hits in four straight.

Widen out the picture, and Merrill, who’s hitting .323 on the season, has hits in 11 of his last 15 games.

But Merrill draws a tough matchup on Thursday in the form of veteran lefty Robbie Ray, who’s tied for the third most wins (7-1), while putting up a stellar 2.43 ERA.

Merrill’s .279 average against lefties is by far his lowest split in all categories, as opposed to his scorching .344 clip against righties.

Ray doesn’t completely shut down left-handed bats, but opponents are hitting just .228 against him on the year.

Merrill has never faced Ray in his career, so that should be an advantage for the pitcher, especially as accomplished as the Giants’ starter.

Could Merrill squeeze in a hit later once San Fran goes to the bullpen? That will be tough too, as the Giants own the best bullpen ERA in the majors, and are the only team to hold opponents under a .200 average.
