My Phillies vs Padres best bet: Phillies moneyline (-150 at BetMGM)
Although the Philadelphia Phillies have been inconsistent this season, Zack Wheeler remains one of the best pitchers in baseball.
The NL Cy Young favorite has put together a terrific season, going 9-3 with a 2.17 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and 148 strikeouts across 116 innings.
Wheeler has been even better recently, allowing just three earned runs over his last six starts. The veteran hurler is coming off a 12-strikeout, one-hit complete game against the Reds, and he dominated the San Diego Padres in his previous start with eight shutout innings.
Meanwhile, Yu Darvish will be making his second start of the season for San Diego. He threw 63 pitches and lasted just 3 2/3 innings pitched against Arizona, struggling with control and surrendering two runs.
The Padres will most likely have to turn to the bullpen early tonight after throwing 5+ shutout innings on Friday. With the pitching advantage heavily in Philly's favor, take the NL East leaders to grab the road win at Petco Park.

Kyle Schwarber homered for the third straight game on Friday night and has great career numbers against Darvish, going 5-for-14 with two home runs and two doubles.
