Mariners vs Blue Jays Prediction, Picks & Odds for ALCS Game 7 — Monday, October 20

The Mariners and Blue Jays have combined for plenty of runs throughout this series, with only Game 1 coming in with fewer than eight runs scored. The bats will come out to play once again in Game 7.

Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 7 predictions

Who will win Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 7

This has been a true back-and-forth series, and that will continue in Game 7. The Mariners had three errors and grounded into two double plays with the bases loaded during their 6-2 loss in Game 6. I expect a tidier defensive showing and more runners touching them all for Seattle tonight.

Mariners vs Blue Jays best bet

Over 7.5 (-110)

There have been eight or more runs in each of the past five games of the American League Championship Series, and both the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays have long-standing trends to the Over.

Seattle travelled well during the regular season with a second-ranked wOBA and ISO, while Toronto ranked third and seventh at home in the respective metrics.

There have been a healthy 22 home runs through the first six games of the series, too.

Additionally, this will be the second time Mariners starter George Kirby and Blue Jays veteran Shane Bieber will pitch during the series.

Of course, both bullpens have seen plenty of action, so there will be further familiarity in the later stages of Game 7, too.

Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 7 same-game parlay (SGP)

The Mariners have a high 27.9% strikeout rate during the postseason after finishing with the 10th-highest mark (22.7%) against righties during the regular season, and Bieber fanned eight across six innings in Game 3 of the ALCS.

I’m also expecting Kirby to sit down four or more Blue Jays via strikeout after fanning four over four frames in Game 3. He’s sporting a high-end 11.57 K/9 and 29.0 K% across 14 playoff innings, after all.

Mariners vs Blue Jays SGP

  • Over 7.5
  • Shane Bieber Over 4.5 strikeouts
  • George Kirby Over 3.5 strikeouts

Mariners vs Blue Jays home run pick for Game 7

Julio Rodriguez (+450)

Mariners star Julio Rodriguez has homered off Bieber during his career and sports a solid .233 ISO with a trio of round trippers during the postseason. Of course, Rodriguez also hit 23 of his 32 home runs on the road with a .275 ISO during the regular season.

Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 7 odds

  • Moneyline: Seattle +110 | Toronto -130
  • Run line: Seattle +1.5 (-185) | Toronto -1.5 (+155)
  • Over/Under: Over 7.5 (-110) | Under 7.5 (-110)
