The Minnesota Twins look to push their winning streak to seven games when they host the San Francisco Giants on Saturday night at Target Field.
The Giants hand the ball to Logan Webb as they look to even the series after a 3-1 loss on Friday night. Joe Ryan will take the mound for the Twins, who could move to .500 on the season with a victory.
Our Giants vs. Twins predictions and MLB picks for Saturday, May 10 breaks down the matchup and explains why Minnesota should continue its winning form at home.

My Giants vs Twins best bet: Twins moneyline (-115 at BetMGM)
Logan Webb has been strong for the San Francisco Giants this season, but there’s a drastic difference when looking at his home vs. road splits. And by drastic, I mean an ERA gap of nearly four runs.
When pitching at home, Webb has posted a 0.44 ERA in 20.1 IP while allowing just one earned run. He’s also struck out 22 batters compared to just 16 hits and five walks surrendered.
But in 28 IP on the road, it’s a different story. Webb’s ERA skyrockets to a mark of 4.18 while his WHIP shoots up to 1.32 compared to 1.03 at home. He’s also allowed 13 earned runs, including five earned in his last road start at San Diego.
That was one of five road starts Webb has made in 2025, and was the third one in which he allowed three or more earned runs. And given his counterpart on Saturday, I like the Minnesota Twins to get the win here.
Joe Ryan, much like Webb, has also enjoyed pitching more in front of his home fans. This will be his fourth start this season at Target Field, where he’s allowed just five earned over 17 IP with a 0.88 WHIP and 25 Ks.
Ryan has also shown exceptional control this season, walking just five batters in 158 plate appearances while striking out 47 batters in 40 IP. And he will be facing a San Francisco team that hits just .217 away from home, compared to a .254 average at Oracle Park.
The Twins have won six straight games after last night’s victory, and have won 11 of their last 12 at home. And while neither team has hit the ball particularly well this season, Webb’s road inconsistency will be the difference here. Back Minnesota to get the victory behind Ryan’s pitching, a strong bullpen, and some timely hitting.
Giants vs Twins same-game parlay (SGP)
Both the Giants and Twins rank in the Bottom 10 teams in batting average, hits, and OBP this season. Hitting home runs has been a big boost for each team in terms of scoring runs, but Target Field has a deep fence with high walls. Webb has allowed only one HR all season, and four of the six Ryan has surrendered came on the road. I like a low-scoring affair through five.
Another key reason I’m confident we won’t see many runs early is the filthy stuff both pitchers have when ahead in the count. Webb hasn’t had issues striking out batters home or away, and he’s notched at least six strikeouts in six of his last seven starts. He’s also faced at least 24 batters in five of his last six outings, and getting six Ks here shouldn’t be an issue if he replicates that feat.
