The Los Angeles Dodgers ran the San Francisco Giants out of their own building on Saturday. They scored six runs against ace Logan Webb and never looked back en route to a 13-7 win.

My Dodgers vs. Giants predictions see another multi-run victory in the cards for a team that’s been stacking them up of late. Let’s break down my September 14 MLB picks.

Dodgers vs Giants prediction

Dodgers vs Giants best bet: Dodgers -1.5 (+135)

The Los Angeles Dodgers have won five of their last six games, besting their opponents by a 35-17 scoreline in aggregate. Each of those victories came by at least two runs, with four decided by three runs or more. They're consistently winning big.

They have a strong chance of doing so again with Tyler Glasnow taking the bump, who's allowed more than four hits in just one start the entire season.

He’s given up the occasional homer — often with runners on — but has really not allowed opponents to string together hits, making it difficult to score against him. Glasnow has conceded just 1.8 earned runs per start.

The San Francisco Giants will likely struggle to score, which probably can’t be said of the Dodgers. They're generating a ton of runs right now and will face off against a struggling Robbie Ray.

The veteran lefty has given up three runs or more in four of his last six and at least two in five of those starts.

One big problem has been an inability to keep the ball on the ground. Ray has posted a sky-high fly ball rate of 54.1% over the last month, second highest among the day’s projected starters. He has also induced soft contact at just a 10.7% clip, second lowest. Not a recipe for success.

Look for the Dodgers to get to him and give Glasnow all the run support he could need.

Dodgers vs Giants same-game parlay (SGP)

Teoscar Hernandez crushes left-handed pitching. He also has a strong history against Ray, going 3-10 with a pair of homers. He is at his best against the fastball and that is Ray’s go-to pitch, setting him up well for success. Hitting behind Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and, perhaps, Freddie Freeman helps as well.

Devers is 7-21 against Glasnow. He hasn’t hit for much power — only one hit went for extra bases — but a single would work just fine for us. Devers has hit safely in 15 of his last 20 home games.
