My Diamondbacks vs Phillies best bet: Aaron Nola Over 5.5 strikeouts (-105 at DraftKings)
Aaron Nola has had a rough start to the season. The Philadelphia Phillies righthander started 0-5 in his first five starts before helping his team to a win last time out. He didn't get the win, but his seven innings of one-run ball against the Cubs allowed the Phillies to get the 3-1 win in extras.
Nola is still 0-5 on the season with an unsightly 5.40 ERA and 1.40 WHIP through 35 innings in six starts. However, he hasn't had any trouble missing bats, logging 37 strikeouts in those 35 innings.
The righty has had at least six strikeouts in five of his six starts this season. The only outlier came against a tough Dodgers lineup in his second start of the season. Outside of that, though, Nola had six strikeouts in two games, seven in one, and eight in his other two starts.
We’re getting Nola Over 5.5 strikeouts at essentially a pick'em. He’s hit that in five of six starts this season and finished last season with at least seven strikeouts in his final four outings.
