Diamondbacks vs Dodgers best bet: Kyle Tucker Over 0.5 RBI (+145)
The newly acquired Kyle Tucker is a sharp bet to lead the National League in RBI. He’ll have a premium lineup position in the top-third of the best lineup in baseball, and is projected to hit behind Shohei Ohtani (.392 OBP).
Arizona Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen had an unsightly 4.83 ERA last year and ranked 42nd out of 47 qualified starters in Stuff+ (93). He didn’t look any better in Spring Training (7.59 ERA and 1.78 WHIP).
Tucker has had success in this matchup, going 6-for-18 with five RBI in his career against the right-hander.
COVERS INTEL: Kyle Tucker has strong plate discipline, ranking in the 96th percentile in walk rate (14.6%) and the 98th percentile in chase rate (17.6%). Gallen had a poor 10.5% K-BB% against lefties in 2025, so he’ll likely pitch to contact.

Arizona finished 80-82 last year and didn’t have a particularly inspirational offseason.
The Los Angeles Dodgers send out the World Series MVP, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, to the bump, giving them a big leg up in the pitching department. The projected Arizona lineup has a measly .450 OPS against the Japanese hurler.
There aren’t a lot of whiffs in the 2026 version of this Dodgers lineup. Tucker’s 14.7% K-rate from a season ago fits right in with low-strikeout bats like Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Miguel Rojas. Gallen’s K-rate has steadily declined since his debut and was down to 21.5% a year ago.

Max Muncy, the longest tenured Dodger on this year’s roster, has had issues staying on the field, but he typically rakes when healthy.
Well, he certainly looked healthy in spring (.333/.429/.583 with three homers), and it’s a plus matchup against Gallen. Lefties crushed the veteran (1.37 WHIP) a year ago as he struggled to find the right out pitch.
Muncy posted a 164 wRC+ and blasted 15 of his 19 home runs at Dodger Stadium in 2025.
