The Toronto Blue Jays are a wagon. They'll go for a franchise-record tying 11th straight win when they close out their series with the Chicago White Sox in a matinee matchup on Wednesday, July 9.
The last time the Blue Jays won 11 in a row was in August 2015, when they went on to win the American League East.
A division title is still a long way away, but my Blue Jays predictions and MLB picks are betting they match that great team’s mark today, and do it in style.

It’s not hyperbole to say everyone on this Toronto Blue Jays roster has contributed to this 10-game winning streak.
The Blue Jays have gotten production up and down the lineup. The starting pitching has been solid. And the bullpen has been reliable.
Look no further than today’s starter, Eric Lauer. The 30-year-old lefty didn’t pitch in the big leagues in 2024, and now he’s giving the Jays great innings.
Lauer is pitching to a 3.21 expected ERA and a .220 expected batting average. Both are in the Top 25% among MLB pitchers.
He’s made 13 appearances (seven starts) for the Jays this season and has never allowed more than three runs, and has held opponents to two runs or fewer 11 times.
Today, Lauer faces a Chicago White Sox lineup that is one of the worst in baseball, with the third-highest strikeout rate vs. left-handed pitching while ranking 20th in wRC+.
Countering Lauer is another journeyman in Adrian Houser. The 32-year-old right-hander has good numbers in eight starts for the White Sox, but he could be due for a regression. He ranks in the 29th percentile in xBA and the 23rd in strikeout rate.
A perfect example was his last start vs. the Jays back on June 22. He only allowed two runs over 6 1/3 innings but surrendered seven hits and three walks.
The Blue Jays, who have been the best lineup in baseball since May 28, make that regression a reality today, match their franchise record win streak, and do it in style, winning by multiple runs. It's something they've done six times during this steak.
Today’s Blue Jays same-game parlay (SGP)
While the Blue Jays have gotten contributions up and down the lineup, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has still done his thing.
Vladdy enters this game ranked in the 100th percentile in expected batting average, and he’s quietly having a nice series. He’s 3-for-10 with two doubles, three walks, and two RBI. Let’s back Vladdy to drive in another run this afternoon
Addison Barger continues to rake. He has another home run in this series, bringing him to 12 for the season. He’s also hitting .295 with a 1.022 OPS over his last 12 games, going Over 1.5 total bases eight times in that stretch.
Left-handed hitters have had much more success vs. Houser this season, getting to him for a .358 average and a .767 OPS.
