Participants in the most famed survivor contest in the U.S. were convinced neither team would start 0-2. The Bucs were more than touchdown favorites but knocked out nearly 36% of entries.
The Chargers were 6.5-point favorites but sent 1,357 contestants packing with a double-digit loss. They also eliminated 30% of the field in Week 1, bringing their two-week elimination total to 8,942.
The Ravens cost 835 participants their spot in the contest with a Week 2 home loss to the Saints, while another 42 entries didn’t turn in a pick, eliminating themselves as well. The Bears’ loss to the Vikings ended 50 entries.

There are 146 contestants needing a Rams victory over the Giants to advance.
The 49ers were the most-picked team in Circa Survivor, and their easy win over the Dolphins advanced 6,741 entries Sunday. More than 900 entries had to sweat out the Eagles’ late win at Tennessee, while 241 survived with the Chiefs' overtime victory over the Colts.
The Patriots and Panthers helped another 386 entries advance Sunday.
No other team accounted for more than 0.3% of the remaining entries, but three contestants picked the Bengals to upset the Texans and two took the Raiders to pull off that shocker over the Chargers.
Not so grand
The Bucs took out 14 entries in Circa’s $100,000 Grandissimo contest, nearly 29% of the remaining field. The Ravens eliminated four others, while one contestant had the Chargers.
The 49ers pushed 26 entries through to Week 3, and the Eagles were the only other winning selection so far. One participant will rely on the Rams winning Monday to advance.
The high-stakes contest started with 77 entries, but just 30 remain in contention for the $7.7-million prize pool.
