The PGA Tour Florida Swing concludes this week with the Valspar Championship at the demanding Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead Course) in Palm Harbor, Florida.

It’s a strong field with multiple former event winners and major champions set to take on The Snake Pit closing stretch, and I’ve got a trio of players down the Valspar Championship odds list to target from my top golf picks of the week.

Valspar Championship sleeper predictions

Sleeper pick to win: Sahith Theegala
+4000 at BetMGM

Sahith Theegala is rolling along a solid run with three Top 10s and two more Top 25s across his past seven events while ranking 12th in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green, 11th on approach, and 21st in putting.

Additionally, I also value Theegala ranking 11th in Par 5 scoring average and 15th in adjusted scoring average on the PGA Tour this season, and he finished T7 in his 2022 debut in this event, too.

Sleeper pick to win: Ryo Hisatsune to win
+4000 at BetMGM

While a tough week on the greens led to a T13 finish in THE PLAYERS for Ryo Hisatsune, it was also his fourth Top 20 across his past six events. He finished the event third in true strokes gained tee-to-green, and the rising star has also gained true strokes off-the-tee and on approaches in each of his past seven tournaments.

Add Hisatsune carding a T4 here last year while gaining true strokes across the board, and he’s a go-to target this week.

Sleeper pick to win: Wyndham Clark
+6000 at BetMGM

The ball-striking numbers pop for Wyndham Clark with ranks of seventh in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green and ninth on approaches across his past three events. He carded a solo fifth at the Copperhead Course in his last visit in 2023, while gaining true strokes across the board, including ranking fourth in tee-to-green play and third on approaches.

Driving accuracy has been a problem, so the luxury of being able to club down on several holes positions Clark to capitalize on his ball-striking surge. And, if the putts start to fall, this number will look like a gift by the weekend.
