A star-studded field heads to Muirfield Village for the seventh signature event of the 2025 season, and World No. 1 and defending champion Scottie Scheffler is the betting favorite in the Memorial Tournament odds.

I’m looking further down the odds lists with my top golf picks for the 2025 Memorial Tournament with a quintet of bets headlined by 2023 champ Viktor Hovland.

Golf picks for the Memorial Tournament 2025

Memorial Tournament outright picks

Outright pick: Viktor Hovland
+3000 at bet365

The 2023 Memorial champion has found a groove again and played the weekend in five straight tournaments dating back to this Valspar victory. Viktor Hovland ranks 12th in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green, third on approach, and 10th in putting during the five-event heater.

Additionally, Hovland finished a solid T15 in his title defense at Muirfield Village last June, and the ball-striking wiz ranks 20th in birdie-or-better percentage for the year.

Outright pick: Corey Conners
+3300 at FanDuel

The Canadian continues to contend with seven Top 25s across his past eight events, which includes a quintet of Top 10s. Corey Conners finished T20 in the 2024 Memorial, and his stats pop off the page, too.

Conners has gained true strokes across the board, including ranking third in this field in tee-to-green play, third in driving accuracy, 10th on approach, and 15th in putting during the highlighted eight-tournament stretch.

I also value the two-time PGA Tour winner ranking 25th in adjusted scoring average on Tour for the year.

Memorial Tournament prop picks

Finishing position pick: Sepp Straka Top 20
+150 at ESPN BET

This is a big number considering Sepp Straka has won twice this season and finished T5 in the Memorial while gaining true strokes across the board last year.

He also ranks eighth in this field in both true strokes gained tee-to-green and driving accuracy dating back to his January win a the American Express, and I also particularly appreciate him ranking second on approach and 14th in putting during the hot stretch.

It doesn’t end there, either. Straka is fourth in adjusted scoring average, second in birdie-or-better percentage, and fifth in bogey avoidance on Tour this season.

Finishing position pick: Tony Finau Top 20
+150 at DraftKings

This will be the ninth trip to Muirfield Village for Tony Finau, and he has five Top 15s, including his T8 in the 2024 edition while gaining true strokes across the board.

Finau has also gained true strokes across the board in consecutive events with a T15-T19 run to respectfully rank 12th in this field in both true strokes gained tee-to-green and on approach.

Don’t sleep on Finau. His game is trending in the right direction.

Memorial Tournament first-round pick

Prop pick: Patrick Cantlay Over 10.5 pars
-125 at DraftKings

Historically, Muirfield Village has been a happy place for Patrick Cantlay. He’s won here twice and added two more Top 5s across his nine visits.

Ironically, the eight-time PGA Tour winner is coming off his first missed cut at the PGA Championship since failing to play the weekend right here at the 2024 Memorial. In between, Cantlay carded five Top 5s and another eight Top 25s during the 17-event run, and he gained true strokes across the board. I’m anticipating a solid Round 1 from Cantlay and a tidy card.

Finally, it’s worth noting this prop is trading at -163 through bet365, with the difference in the -125 DraftKings odds presenting a positive expected value of 12%.
