The 107th edition of the PGA Championship gets underway this week at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina.
After looking through the PGA Championship odds, I have compiled my three favorite golf picks for this week’s major championship, including top names like Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas.
Predictions for the 2025 PGA Championship
- Rahm Top 10 (+200)
- Niemann Top 10 (+300)
- Thomas Top USA (+1100)

Jon Rahm Top 10
+200 at BetMGM
Jon Rahm may have as high a floor as any of the top contenders in this field. Dating back to last year, Rahm has finished inside the Top 10 in 17 of his past 19 events.
Those tournaments span multiple tours, including the PGA, European, LIV, and the Olympics. Wherever Rahm goes, he contends.
The pressure of a major championship is no problem, as he's won the 2021 U.S. Open and 2023 Masters. A high-floor golfer, the return of 2-1 is too much to pass up on Rahm to finish inside the Top 10.
He's also gained strokes in his past 20 major championship appearances.
Joaquin Niemann Top 10
+300 at DraftKings
Another LIV golfer to target in the Top 10 market is Joaquin Niemann. While Rahm has been contending in every LIV tournament, Niemann has been winning them.
Niemann leads LIV with three wins through seven events this season, which is remarkable considering he keeps fending off golfers like Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka. The question is whether Niemann will finally break through in a major tournament.
He’s been a safe bet to make cuts but has rarely found himself near the top of the leaderboard in these events. That said, Quail Hollow presents a good opportunity for Niemann to get over the hump, given it’s a bomber’s course that rewards long hitters, which he is.
Justin Thomas Top USA golfer
+1100 at DraftKings
Justin Thomas is one of the favorites to win this tournament, and he’s one of my picks to do so. However, there’s also considerable value at 11-1 for him to finish as the top American.
This market eliminates Rory McIlroy, Rahm, Ludvig Åberg, and Niemann, four players who could stand between Thomas and the title. That said, Thomas profiles as one of the top golfers this week.
Over his past four tournaments, he boasts three T2 finishes, including a win at the RBC Heritage. Thomas is also a long hitter who has won two PGA Championships, and given his recent form and course fit, it wouldn’t be surprising if he extends that total to three.
