If you follow your own advises - you just might make it on time for your monthly recount Sir. Every great beginning has a fall at some stage and its success depends on your ability to refocus. Keep the eye on the ball, stop living your own legendary thread and get back to basic handicapping. That is all you need to do at this stage. Otherwise - if you'll continue to play a nice hostess for the thread and worry more of its popularity than your picks - it will seize to be interesting. And the truth to be said - you're about to risk your good reputation as a trader if you fail to do that.

Dont overthink all the time. Sometimes all this talk about reverse line movement and such just confuses the issue. Sure observing line movement is a part of capping, but lay the foundation first by crunching numbers, look at the scheduling, the refs, injuries, trends, etc. When your done look at what line you have and compare it with the linesmakers. If you have an advantage, write it down then observe the line. Dont just use one facet of handicapping and try and cut corners. Even after all the hard work you can still go thru a losing period. Its a grind! By the way I like the over 183.5 in that game. Good luck!

I want to start tracking all this stuff, but have no idea where you guys can collect all information. If it is not a secret, where do you guys to find trends and all stats? Thank you! I would like to export that information and try to crunch numbers myself.

Honestly SportsMavin, I wanted to make this post VERY EARLY in your thread beginnings, but I didn't. I think I will now, however...
You know, you're really talented. And I believe that you can be that top 2% of long-haul moneymakers in this business. And I know what you're trying to do with this thread, extremely noble and commendable. But...I think there's one facet of gambling that's not really being focused on by you, if I will. And that is the fact that it's a tug of war, but not between us bettors and the books, but between US BETTORS. You understand how this sports investing system works, as a whole. You can't SAVE everyone. HELL, you shouldn't want to, in my humble opinion. To be clear, I understand you want everyone to be SUCCESSFUL. SportsMavin, you know it as well as I do, THAT CAN'T HAPPEN. We (the MASS of us sports bettors) are naive, brash, reckless (LEMMINGS); we carry this approach through our everyday way of life, hence our UNPRODUCTIVENESS.
