Today financials are separated from that as the online options trading is the fastest growing industry. It only gets regulated nowadays. If you ask me - that is one of the most thrilling forms of betting. There is a console for 60 seconds on options. It's unbelievable. If you get a feel of that good $ can be made. The only thing is that there are very few real legit ones who give you your withdrawals real fast, genuinly have the stocks and commodities they offer, have top of the notch technology allowing mobile and ipad trading.

3)good luck winning 52 percent of your picks....take the -110 line with that and you actually have lost money
4)your quote: "pretty prideful for a person whos losing"....it's when you are losing, that you really need your pride.....which if you want to go 52 percent wise, like an idiot...then he is easily winning....and he will be up at the end of this month anyway....
    5) your quote:" I don't live or die by the positives of one day or one week."  Yeah neither does he, thats part of what he preaches, if you read through the thread, you would have already known that
6)your quantity over quality statement literally makes zero sense.  If you took no quality in that, then you would basically just be choosing random teams, with a 10 percent decline to start with.....
    7) Then you actually say well quality picks can suck on any given day.  Besides that just being an idiotic statement, you basically just answered the question of why not to bet quantity???  Your saying quality can suck sometimes, but then betting as many times as you can with "the quality picks that can suck on any given day" would be better????....that way you could turn a bad day, into a terrible day....oh ok that makes sense....
    8) This being the biggest thing, the first thing that is obvious about you, is that you only care about yourself.  So, why is it, that you constantly are like trying to defend the fact, that we his "minions" shouldn't follow his picks.  Get a clue buddy, nobody cares about your advice, we all make are own decisions.....and not everybody is here just for picks, but if they were, that would be there decision.  Either way though, we are all on here for something.....heres the question you should ask yourself??  If i don't like his advice or his picks....then why am i on here???

Never seems to get?  I've been a huge supporter of Mavin from the beginning.. especially when he's losing.  I don't support Mavin when he's winning... you have the public and his minions doing that for him already.  I think his rules to live by when it comes to capping has "value".  I never said he didn't know garbage when it comes to capping.  Sometimes he states the obvious and gets burned (Like oddsmakers are dumb idiots who don't know that the Tide and ND have good defenses).  When he goes against the consensus, he has "value".  I just think his weakness is "bankroll management."  If you can't manage your bankroll better (5% on every game is ridiculous and eventually the books will take everything you have).  Losing 10 straight games HAPPENS... it's not out of the norm.  If you know you can pick better than 50% (over a span of 1000 games) why are you investing so much on a single pick?  It's stupid!  It's awesome that both of you guys can take positive statements but get butt hurt once someone tries to help you get better.  I play every game on board if possible but I don't lay 2-5% of my bankroll on any given game either.  5 years from now you'll remember back when we had this discussion.  Hopefully you'll remove your pride and understand that I'm trying to help you... not destroy you like the books.  But then again, maybe some spanking from the books will humble the both of you.

    That is all.

Melos will most probably answer you for the spread. As far as the totals go - oh yeah. Even more

    January 13, Bet 03
    Oklahoma City Thunder -1 2Q - $120 to win $100

The lines for this game have been moving like crazy this evening. I swer just ten minutes ago William Hill had OKC at -5 while some other bookie had them at -3.5. Something is going to happen here, and seeing as I have had a good run tonight, I decided to play this pick by the book and back the team with the strongest second quarter pts record. God bless me.

My book still had the line at 4.5. Just bought the hook and bet Portland +5.

So much for not playing anything tonight. I was watching that all day and saw it dip to 4 at some of the Vegas spots.

My play is Portland +5 -120.

    4-4 -70

Yeah betting quality games and losing 5% of your bankroll or play 5 games @ 1% of your bankroll... hmmm!  I bet you don't even know the true definition of a "square" and "sharp".  If so, enlighten us please.  I would love to know what your definition of a square and sharp is.  Don't lie to yourself by searching it on google.

You're talking about pride of others as a liability - yet - your answers come from a hurt ego. They do not make sense buddy. I told you I appreciate your feedback and a peep you gave us into your betting world. However - I disagree with your system of betting in regard to the bankroll. What's seems so hard to understand here? We all know little math: if your bet units are 1% and you're betting 70 games - that's 70$ of your bankroll. If you win 37 out of 70 - that's 52.8%. Now, let's say you bet 10$ a unit (1000$ bankroll according to your system) - that's a loss of 363$ (33x11) while winning 370$ (37x10). So, you're risking 700$ to win 7$? And you call it a good business?

We will chart every day for 3 weeks before starting using those charts that are not available with any sports stats services and for a good reason. The books are counting on us being lazy and dumb struck like I was yesterday. Happens - that is part of the trade, and even more important - it is part of the learning process how to rebound without losing our composure and panicking.
