Some of the comments have concerned habits necessary for long term success, those should be valuable to you. There is no reason to up your bets immediately or simply for the sake of more action.
Some people think you were undercapitalized, which may be valid.
The bottom line is, you've done well so far and seem to be developing a social circle. It seems like you made a good decision for yourself. No need to get defensive.

Took Lakers ^^^203.5 Since I can watch the game Laker fan but don't think they win so I usually am sucker . I bet the ^^^ Colegd missed your 3rd play in morning I got Oregon St +5,5 & Mil+5 What was your earlier Winner I missed I looked all over couldn't find Thanks again for winning picks so far

College now I get it it says lets get to 2-1 With Asu game It's hard bartending, watching games on line, reading. & sending Tex's Will get them Monday Heard you had nice morning with Yiur date Thought you had another one tonight Pail called from Vegas He had 3 teamer going $50 Oregon Michican St & Boston tonight Told him we had Oregon . Was going against him with Illinois , Hope Lakers win but looks like Celtics early Need the over .

I think your approach to this whole Vegas move/transition has been very smart and disciplined.
I mean you are in a new land (literally), exploring uncharted territory, learning the lay of the land, learning the roads, learning the ins and outs of getting to and fro from casino to casino to your apartment. You had to buy furniture and food and all that crap that comes along with moving. Plus you ponied up your first few months rent which is very smart.
550 a game is a lot of money. Especially on a game to game basis day in and day out.
I think it's very wise to start with that and build it up. Your up a few grand in 2 weeks. Not bad at all. I'm not sure what everyones expectations are here…I guess everyone makes a lot more money than I do 
Start slow…build up your roll and as you hit plateaus, up your bets when it is appropriate.
I don't think you are "leaving hundred dollar bills on the table". I mean you are literally just getting started and getting used to everything.
But just bounce back from today and move on to tomorrow man.
I guess what I am getting at is if you make 50k in a year…that's not bad at all considering the cost of living in Vegas is so cheap.
I mean Christ, start kind of small and work your way up.

Every one wants to tell this guy how to wager. Let him live and learn the way all professional gamblers have had to do. Sure he is going to make mistakes who doesn't. At least he had the guts to give it a try and I applaud him for that.

If I were doing what he is trying to do, MILF's would be a complete nonissue for me because they wouldn't exist. The next day's games would exist. My 'fun' would be capping...period.
Las Vegas, and everything that surrounds it, will swallow you up and spit you out curbside with lint in your pockets.
There are very thin profit margins here, and although 1-3 will happen from time to time, they are simply unacceptable as a result of reckless behavior the night before a quartet of bets.
