Moving to Vegas to become a full time pro handicapper

College. Let me start by saying I'm really pulling for you. I watched a few of the videos and you really are a likeable guy. The fact that you actually moved to Vegas and are trying this says a lot. That being said, there are a few things that give me apprehension.
1. Numerous times in the early stages of this post, you would say something like "if I can just not drink". WTF?? You either drink or you don't. You know you have a weakness, so just f-ing don't. Simple.
2. You keep making references about being a pro, doing the right thing, money management, discipline, yada yada yada. It seems like you are saying this stuff to convince yourself it's true. The fact that you waste time defending your actions to the majority of morons in this thread is idiotic. Again, you either do the right sh*t pertaining to being a pro, or you don't. Saying it 1000 times a day doesn't mean a thing.
3. You keep referencing you college and pro football %'s. I'm not saying it's not impressive, but in 120 NFL plays, you went 68-52 roughly. I'll round it up for simple math and give you 70-50. At $500 a game, you net $7,500 for the season. You say you won't bet on every prime time game like you did, so let's say you cut it down 40% and play 72 plays a season and get to the 60% winners you claim you will get to. That means you will roughly go 44-28, for a net of $6,600 on the season. Let's double it, assuming you play a dime a game. That's only $13,200 for 7 months, nailing 60% winners. While that would be slamming an online account while having a job, who can live on less than 2 grand a month with no health insurance? And that's going 60%! Do you know how f-ing hard it is to hit 60% year after year?
4. That being said, you say football is your best sport. What happens when you have a down year? You do realize that if you lose just 4 more games in my hypothetical, going 40-32, you will net $4800 for an entire season, betting a dime a game? What about the other 5 months capping hoops and bases?
5. I believe a person can make a living being a professional, but in my opinion, moving to Vegas and having all of the living expenses without a guaranteed income is like walking a tight rope. Sooner or later, everyone falls. And I personally don't think a 30k bankroll is a big enough safety net when you do.
I'm not trying to be a d**k and bring you down, because I truly want you to succeed. I literally look forward to reading the post every day. If I were you, I would listen to the guys who are trying to help you. Talk to Vanzack. I don't know the dude, but he's genuine. He knows what's up. The majority of the morons who just stroke your co*k are a waste of time. Who the F wastes their time saying sh*t like "GL man!", "I'm pulling for you!" "I bang MILF's!!"?
Note to most... Unless you have a vendetta against CG, we are all pulling for him. We all want him to win. And the majority of guys I have ever met that bet on sports like to have a few drinks and bang hot chicks. Got it. Thanks for sharing. Why you would need to tell us in CG's thread is befuddling, to say the least.

# 3 totally agree. 2% of bankroll per wager is not going to get it done. Especially when on a roll those have got to be at least 4% even 5% $1500 wagers. That is the simple mathematics of the situation. I am not talking out of my azz, I passed a Series Six once upon a time so I know a little bit about how investment numbers work. CG is doing great job but if he keeps throwing away $100 bills he is digging a hole. Everybody has their own comfort level I suppose. I know I would not have even attempted what CG is doing without at least a minimum of $80K.

I tried to quiz the kid on this earlier. If you are straight betting and hit at 60% you are only making 16 units every 100 bets at -110. Given your discipline you will average say 40 bets a month? Therefore every 2.5 months you will net 16*500=$8000.As stated above a bad month will kill you. Your goal should be to grow your roll and increase your bet size relative to your roll along with keeping your life expenses low. The larger your roll, the larger your bet size, the larger your profit per 100 bets. Clearly a 1k unit makes you 16k every 2.5 months etc. At the end of the day its math my man. Cap how you please but do some research on your betting strategy.

No skip. Can't u see what plays I post? Just locked in my third play and final one of day. People I been here 15 days!!! 340+ days of betting left. My best read on games is always football I will be making large plays then and will start doing some now when I feel comfortable. I'm on pace to make over 100K and people r criticizing me lmao. Trust me there will be variance to the amounts I bet. Look what I bet on football games at home plenty of K plays. It's a long journey and it just started. The dumbest thing I could have done was come out here betting K plays I mean sure with my winning percentage I would be up over 10K but it's easy to say that now. Appreciate the advice though but if I start raising my plays and losing here will be the comments. "No discipline CG, we knew u would fail" just watch the fuckking journey. Part of this is enjoying living out here too which I absolutely love there is no place I would rather live then here. I'm 15 days into a year long journey....

Arizona state sun devils I obviously meant****. Bol all let's get the 2-1 +$450 day and get the profit to 5.5K or so overall!!! Remember I had my only bad day out here on Tuesday 0-4 -$2090 and regardless I made an unreal comeback this week. (I profited $4750 week one) it's hard To come back to basically even or + in a week after being down $2090 in week on a Tuesday and win or lose this zona state bet I have basically done that which is a hell of a job
