Yeah but the CG was betting at more locals places not higher end props ..I just suggested early on to him to sell  those drink tix for a few bucks on the tourists for gas $ etc..I've given away as many as I have used at the Gold Coast/Rio over the years..(After they date stamp them nowadays) He could have killed it MarchMadness with kid newbies staying everywhere..But back then he had a serious roll.Also suggested rolling a little bit of cash at the Sportsbook bars VP machines.just to meet the bartenders and other regulars as he was a virgin there..that in itself is free food maybe everyday or other..I've met some guys at the Gold Coast (retired)and they spend thier days there and a buddy of mine in AC LIVES in the casinos and his car on Saturday night once in awhile..Just saying things can be done but grinding tough life..

Maybe, but $1,800 is what I used to bring for a weekend in Vegas, not to live there.

401k withdrawals take time to process. Then checks need to be mailed. Then the address on his 401K account won't match his Vegas address.

All this will be scrutinized and will prevent a withdrawal (especially a hardship withdrawal which is a hell of a lot harder to get than a direct loan that you pay back to yourself).

And if he goes through that $1,800 (which can happen in one bet)...

If somehow he actually ended up with absolutely no cash while waiting for the 401k $, surely goose would float him a couple hundred or whatever it takes to survive til it did come.

Couple hundred isn't enough to pay living expenses or drop bombs.

It will take a few weeks to get a 401k hardship withdrawal but I'm sure to make the story live longer he will get it in 48 hours!!

There are certain specfic conditions for hardship withdrawls. I am pretty sure gambling is not one of them. It'll take some creative writing to show/prove hardship.

Hence the "whatever".  I cashed out a small 401k once and check was cut the following day.  Goose can float him 10k if that's what it takes, he claims CG is a college football guru so surely he will want to keep him afloat.  Heck if he wants to sign the 401k over to me I'll wire him cash for a fee.

All this 401k talk do any1 of you guys besides Goose really think that this Clown that has displayed his skills over & over again was able to save 10thousand a year into a 401k for 5 straight yrs. This kid is a coin flipper there is no skill no money management....

When you cash out the 401K. make sure to save some of that money to pay the massive tax bill that will come due April 15th 2016

What the CG refers to as a 401K is better known as a Trust Fund in the real world. The likelihood of this d-bag holding a job where he can sock away $50,000.00 in a five year period is slim to none. I am almost positive that CG came on to the covers scene a couple of years ago begging for covers members to fund him since he was down and out. I could be wrong, but I doubt it, I am almost certain it was him. I guess he forgot about that "401K" when he was freaking out about having to tell his parents he was penny-less back then.

We haven't talked on the phone in over three weeks.  So I sent an email and asked him if he was OK and if he needed any help.  This is what I got back...

As long as CG is talking the talk, I gotta believe he's still walkin the walk.  No sign of, not even any tone of, any desperation in that message.  We shall see.

Sheesh, no contact in that long....his manager at Walmart must be a real hard-@zz.

Can't wait to look for this guy next month at Red Rock and/or Westgate.  Though, something tells me, he'll probably be "at another book, where the 'better' line was offered"

I can only assume that if 401k isn't involved:

1) He's dealing weed.

2) He's a low-level runner within the hotels for pimps

There is no way you turn $1,800 into 'alive and well'.

Just saw CG at Planet Hollywood yesterday. Working bankroll now at $19. I did however loan him 10 dollars to get a sandwich so the rollover potential is even more now

Just saw CG in club Tao. He told me his roll was at $319 since he won on the HR derby earlier. Also stated he's pimping now. I was proud of him finally seeing the light. He was much better off selling box than gambling for a living from the get go.
