Chaloots, I take it you haven't read the first 400 pages of this thread? This has been addressed too many times to count.... and each time it falls on deaf ears. Although I agree with what you're saying, CG has made it clear that he doesn't take advice. No need to waste your breath

You've told us you're a wizard about football, baseball, and basketball. Now, out of the clear blue....................
Why not ease into it with a measly $550/500 bet?
If you had a friend that was EXACTLY LIKE YOU-a betting whiz at football, baseball, and basketball................and he comes up to you and says "Hey, here's my first hockey bet I've ever made. Wanna join me betting a thousand bucks?"
What do you say?

Your first hockey bet, and you make it 4 figures?
Ever hear of the phrase "Bet what you know"?

Cg, I don't understand why you keep posting what your record is the last 6 Last 8 Last 10 etc...
If you look up the only honest handicapping service on this planet "youngstown connection"
You will see they don't camalflauge there record. With that nonsense.
They post monthly wins and losses And are 2282-1538-67 Lifetime +583.31 units
That's how you are supposed to discuss the past performances
I went 9-0 on my live bets on Monday Does that mean I'm 9-0 last 9 plays? Went 0-5 Tuesday And 4-2 yesterday 13-7 last 3 days doesn't mean squat 72-60 for March 67-61-2 for February 54-59 January
Nothing big but that's how you show what you are doing, not 8-0 last 4 or 5 days That's bullshite

I will eventually go back to the approach that got me to +$6950 my first 3.5 weeks here of $550/$500 with my occasional "K" plays. Just not feeling it right now. Funny u guys still think I'm going to go broke. Lol I have no doubt in my mind I'll turn this around. Ready for BASES to start!! I have a master plan I'm sticking to
Eventually = I'll make a maximum of two $550 plays and then it's time for another K play, and if necessary, bomb play.

This couldn't be further from the truth. Dropping bomb plays when in a hole isn't a "master plan."
If you start using a master plan then you will get credit for it. But up until this date there is no plan. Just darts being thrown, and bet sizes being pulled out of thin air.

I am trying to help you not criticize you. You are betting way too big for the bankroll you have, it doesn't matter if you are on a hot streak or not. YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT BETTING LIKE THIS. LET THAT SINK IN. You want to live out there and do this for a month or 2 then continue as you are, if you want to change your approach and maybe try giving yourself a real shot at a life out there then listen to what myself, Vanzack and others are telling you about bet size, lines, discipline and juice. If not you have ZERO chance Bro. You don't need to bet every night, there will be games tomorrow and the next day. Slow and Steady Dude.
Dude, I banged my head against the wall for the first 300 pages until he said point blank "I don't want/will not listen to anyone's advice."
You are wasting your time.

While on the topic of his unwillingness to take advice, I've said it before in this thread, and I'll say it again...
CG claims this is his dream job. Most who had their dream job would want to stay in it as long as humanly possible right? He treats his dream job like it's a short vacation instead of a long term career. I think many who finally had their dream job would be doing everything in their power to make sure they were doing it the right way. They'd be picking the brain of EVERYONE they knew who did it successfully until they were told to f*ck off.
A "my way or the highway" approach would be the absolute last way I'd go about it. I do understand CG's point about the fact that he's tired of doing what his parents/others want him to do and wants to do this HIS way, I get it. But that being said, you can do things your style while using the approach that has made others successful. Instead, he does the complete and utter opposite and it's befuddles many in here to say the least.

I like that over but what worries me is TB is tired and won't be able to put forth a normal explosive offensive effort.....kinda like Ottawa Pl and ML also but I do think there is some risk on that over coming from tired legs of a road weary TB squad

He's stuck 7k!! What do most gamblers do when they are stuck 7k? Bet 300 a game?? You, and others, keep telling him to use the approach that has made gamblers successful. Meanwhile, like most losing bettors, he wants to win it back in 3 days! You can't change that thinking in him, or 95% of bettors who do the same thing. That doesn't make it right, but that's probably what his thinking is. You got to move on from telling him about "using the approach that has made others successful". Ain't gonna happen. It's a "hope the bomb hits" approach.

CG betting 1K when your Bankroll is 12.8? Come on man, that is not pro style, that is amateur. I want to to see this thread keep going for years and not just another 2 more months. Don't make the mistake again of betting a sport you know nothing about. Pick and choose your spots man. I know it sucks when there is not much to bet on right now but don't waste your money just to get some action. I know, that you have a "master plan" but what exactly is that? Betting 1K on a hockey over under is arguable dumber than your Kings bomb play.

bomb winners keep all losers afloat for awhile, but it's just a matter of time before reality rears it's ugly head. The only chance you have in sports betting is straight bets for the same amount always. You've chosen the road of the typical loser in Vegas, don't let internet clowns like feartheweb think you must bet big to win.
Why would you call feartheweb an internet clown? What is your reasoning on that?

First off, he's an action junkie (not a professional) like the 95% you mentioned. So I sure as hell wasn't expecting any different than he has currently been doing.
My comments were more directed towards BEFORE he went on his downward spiral. Even back when he first started and he had some success, he had no interest taking advice from anyone. He had no idea the proper amounts he should be betting relative to his bankroll. Just like his "capping", he was throwing darts and hoping they stuck. When others offered him advice on strategies (non capping strategies) he had absolutely no interest. He entertained the concepts, but eventually would change the subject to "team A beats team B tonight" and the topic was lost. Him entertaining the concepts has gone to full out "I will not take advice" and that's fine.
But there has never been a plan, there has simply been an action junkie hoping to win some money. Nothing more, nothing less.
