The books always have an edge ( called vigorish..or vig for short)

2 game parlay (all bets at -110) books pay 2.64-1..true odds 4-1

3 game parlay.. books pay 5.96-1..true odds 7-1

4 game parlay.. books pay 12.28-1...true odds 15-1

5 game parlay.. book pays 24.36-1 ..true oddss 31-1

6 game parlay.. book pays 47.41-1...true odds 63-1

And so on for more than six teamers.

my pt about the parlay was when I said no vig I meant that im risking less to win more.....

when I take a normal spread bet I am always risking more to win less... (-110)

Irish win the game and kentucky most likely blows out WVU, looks like another -4K day for CG. You better think this one through before you pull the trigger or wait for a better match up. Wichita and Notre Dame is a coin toss, not sure how you can bet against notre dame if you've watched their last 7 games

The Irish have won seven in a row, but have yet to produce an "A" game in the NCAA Tournament just getting past Northeastern and Butler. They are due for a really strong performance - and I see it happening here.

Notre Dame hasn't lost the past 28 times it has shot better from the field than its opponent. The Irish hit 50.9 percent of their shots from the floor. That's No. 2 in the nation. Wichita State makes 44.6 percent of its field goals.

Duke and North Carolina couldn't stop Notre Dame in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. ACC teams have been playing very well in the tournament proving once again how strong the conference is. The Irish have shown a knack for stepping up when playing extremely strong competition. They are 7-1 versus the rest of the teams still left in the tournament.

I like the Irish's offense better than any team. The Shockers have an excellent backcourt, but Notre Dame has an excellent backcourt, too, plus a size advantage up front. Irish senior guard Jerian Grant is one of the best in the country. Pat Connaughton, Zach Auguste and Demetrius Jackson all average in double figures along with Grant.

There are some situational elements that should work in Notre Dame's favor, too. Right before the Irish were to play their round of 32 game, Notre Dame coach Mike Brey found out his mother had died.

Wichita State is coming off a emotional and highly-satisfying victory against in-state rival Kansas, a school that would not play the Shockers in the past. Even with a few days since that victory, it's going to be difficult for the Shockers to fully come down from that high and refocus. They had been after Kansas for a long time and finally nailed the Jayhawks.

The Shockers also have to deal with another distraction as reports surfaced this week that Alabama is trying to woo away Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall offering more than $3 million.

Liturgy just gave you a dam n good write-up on this game. I'd really take a look at what he is offering.

Having said that, you better put it all together tomorrow before you pull the trigger because this is another must-win in my opinion.

As good as Notre Dame's offense is, Wichita defense is just as good. That is ther must watch game of the tourney. I don't see any edge myself. Anything can happen.

I actually think the Duke money line is a phenomenal bet. Although they are a 240 favorite, I would be completely stunned if they lost to Utah. I just can't see Utah scoring enough to beat Duke straight up.

calapari called Huggins and said that he thought they would be in same bracket... cal is worried about this ballgame... I don't need to win just cover the +14 although I see this as a 5 pt game either way

I wouldn't be shocked to see HUGGINS and company shock the world outright

I got 1.1k on me and 14.9K in bank... im taking 3.7K out from the bank tomorrow if this line is +13.5 still I am buying it up to +14 and putting $4800/$4000 on it at (-120)

I am staying away from the shockers game and putting all faith in BOB HUGGINS and his rugged basketball organization

Marshall is a hundred times better coach than Brey. With all week to prepare they will shut ND down. Shockers by 10+

I like Huggins style too. Physical and bruising. Press Virginia looks nice +14. They won't be intimidated by Kentucky either.

I have a decent size bet that Kentucky won't win the National Championship CG. Too hard to go undefeated these days.

Press plays right into Kentucky's hands. They are clueless in a half court game, were pathetic vs Cincy when they couldn't get out and run. Either Wisconsin, Wichita , or Utah would beat Kentucky bc they would force them into a half court game.

CG, so you fired all of your organization.

Your organization that was advising you on plays that you then would take credit for as "your record".

So, now, it truly will be all your record because you are no longer taking their advice.

One more piece of advice that will most likely go completely unheeded and unappreciated.

There is no basketball game worth a 30% chunk of your life savings.

NONE.

If you had decided to grind it out at $500 a game, it still would have been too much but would have been acceptable. But your real goal was to make it to football. Losing your composure and possibly your entire bankroll on basketball was never the plan you stated when you started your journey.

Step back and take some time to think about this.

Stacking mistakes one on top of another is not the way to succeed in Vegas, bro. Parlay, huge bets on basketball...you can't let emotion be your driving force if you want to be a pro. If you make a mistake or lose a game, you must still keep your focus and stick to your plan.

The more you lose, the more you bet. It should be the other way around. Your goal should be to PROTECT your bankroll until football, not put it at bigger and bigger RISK on a sport that is not your best sport.

Consider your position should you lose this almost 5k amount. You will be well under 10k in your savings. What will be your plan at that point? Go even bigger?

Think carefully about your options. You are nearing the point of no return.
