I was at the Bublik/Hurkacz match and I couldn’t believe how terrible Bublik was. Talented and amazing. But like a lot of naturally gifted people, I don’t think he works hard enough to actually achieve his potential. He’s always inconsistent, makes the unexpected play which when it hits, it’s exhilarating but it’s usually at his peril.

I’m now worried about my O3.5 wager. Bublik might just fold here. Thought Thiem would give up a set. 

What about rune -7?  Opinion?

No opinion. I’ll be surprised on a Rune upset, but 7 games sounds about right. Thats 4 unanswered breaks. At the US, that’s not the easiest thing right now for him considering his recent hard court outtings and his US open success.

Yea. Looks like he’s overthinking to me.

Baena is a rhythm player. If he doesn’t go on the attack early in the points, eventually Rune is going to get into Baena’s rhythm and roll over this match.
