Vavassori is 9/4 on hard this year, with some nice wins, he also played close to Sinner in Miami losing just 6-3, 6-3 as an 20 odds dog. He played for Italy in the Olympics where he beat Martiniz in the first round and took the 1st set from Ruud in the second round but lost in the end 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. He have never qualifed to the 1st round earlier in the US Open but I think he has good chances this year the 29 year old. 

He is playing Hemery Calvin from France who is a clay player 0-2 on hard this year and 0-1 last year, last hard court win from him was back in July 2022 against some 1000 ranked player... he has 6 straight loses on hard.

Hontama facing Tikhonova Anastasia, who very inconsistent, 46/29 last year most on the ITF tour, this year she's 16/18 and 4/8 on hardcourt. The h2h here is 3-0 to Hontama who still haven't lost a set against Tikhonova.   Hontama is 19/17 this year on hard and have in total over 200 win compared to Tikhonova's 93 and Hontama is only 1 and half year older. 6-1, 6-3 ended this meeting earlier this year and I think we will see a 2 set win again from Hontama.

6-3, 6-4* against Sinner, I watched that match. He was very solid only broken twice and only faced 4 break chances in total. He had more winners than Sinner in that game and less unforced errors so there is potential for sure even at 29. 

Hope the plays hit but they just started and the Frenchman has already broken him...

Damn...Calvin(2-0??) took Vaseline and spread him around like jelly...I hope he recovers from that beating 

Great comeback from Hontama but not even close from Vavassori...

Love playing over with Shang, it's been a real money maker for me lot's of 3 sets from him. Navone is a clay player but he his is not bad on hard, his a good player, the 1.20 on Shang here is a big no no. But the over is my POD.

Cerundolo+Carreno-Busta | 2.10 | 3 units

I see these two in the final..  Savajda is a joke he got the LL sport and tanked a against some random 400 player just to beat Djere who also tanked this final after one set up on the weekend. I see this can only go one way, easy win for Cerundolo. 

Great to see Carreno-busta back in form, I like Shevchenko, but his so inconsistent 4 straight loses and 6 in his last 8 hard court matches. In-form Busta will win this.  

At the moment I only have one favorite parley in the US open

Wolf, Huesler, Bellucci, Bu, Lys, Bapistie & Marino £250 to win £1500.

Did similar yesterday with heavy favorite that hit so will make one for each day

Playing this today, I'm sure it will be lower tomorrow. Very simple Starodubtseva is much better player than Gao.. Gao was down 4-0 and 40-15 in the 3rd set when Danilovic totally collapsed after the rain delay lost 6 straight games..only in the WTA...You won't see such a collapse and so many unforcerderror with Starobudtseva.  

Fonseca is class, he should be in the main draw, we lost against Hemery yesterday but hard too see that he would manage two big upsets in a row.

 I think Kypson will win, but you never know with Ymer, he could even win this.  Nobody thought he would beat Bonzi or  Mochizuki in straight sets.. lots of experience in Ymer. I think we will lots of over matchets and that's probably the wisest in this match.

So much on stake for these qualifiers the 1st round is now paying $100,000 which will be a gamechanger for all these players.

 I love Sun, backed her since the qualifiers in Wimbledon. I think Sun will do great here in Mexico, 500 event all the seeded players will be more focused on US open, so great spot for her to win her first WTA title in my opinion.

They all won 2-0 apart from Huesler who lost 2-0... he faced 2 break balls and lost both...Zhukayev faced 8 and saved 7 of them.. very small margins Huesler should have won that match... we move.

I really like Kotov here, won a good match yesterday after 2+ hours and served really well all match. This will be Svajda's 5th match this week. The Russian is the better player of the two and will be more rested.
