I wasn't on it but the way that Stearns match played out is a tough one to swallow for over backers. Stearns played terrible and tight in first set then loosened up in the second but couldn't serve it into a tiebreak. Brutal. And what the heck is up with Leylah Fernandez? Early exit back home last week then today goes up 3-1 then loses 7 straight games.

Maybe I should take underdogs for the rest of this tourney on the WTA side.

The way Fernandez is playing is unexplainable. Last week made sense to me the pressure of being home and all but today makes no sense. I would like to know the plays you like today if you don't mind.

Well I didn't place any bets today until 30 minutes ago. I liked 3 players today, two of which were Fernandez and Townsend. After watching Stearns/Badosa and Kalinskaya/Siniakova I checked in on their matches to find them both in holes. But I took a shot with a 0.25 unit parlay on Leylah (+450) + Taylor (+125). Total parlay odds +1137.

The cash out value of that parlay is currently 3x my stake so that's good. If this hits it could be a sign that maybe I can stop idling and shift into second gear.

 The other player is Navarro. Definitely a brutal first round draw for her and Andreeva. But I  think we know more what we're going to get from Navarro while Andreeva is somewhat of an unknown in her first match back on this side of the Atlantic. Match will be played during peak heat hours and we've seen some players, like Vekic, really struggle with that. Plus Navarro's dad owns the tournament so he can't let her go out first round lol. She did get knocked out early back home in Charleston earlier this year though so perhaps pressure could be an issue. 

Andreeva could certainly win though. She is resilient at her young age for sure, as evidenced by coming to Paris with barely a handful of doubles wins in her career and leaving with a silver medal.

Wow, cash out value is now 8x. How come these things can't happen when I'm playing real money lol.

Tough picking against @doggs here though as he's been much warmer than me and if Townsend hits he'll need Andreeva to complete his parlay. Do you have any other input on Navarro/Andreeva @doggs ?
