bol I really like Tirante based on his play in toronto

Big serve and holding lots of points on his service game. I like him here, Cincy being a high ace rate tournament. Both Triante and Norrie playing great on hard against two guys who haven't seen a hard court match since the beginning of the season.

Uncontrolled conditions should favour the pushers and retrievers today. Decent dog at +150 imo.

Love this pick, but “pusher and retriever”? Duckworth?! Maybe I don’t understand the phrase. Thought Duckworth was power serve, flat forehand, move forward, get off the court type guy…

Duckworth's a bit of an anomaly. Big serve, hell, even great serve variety. Approach's a lot. Probably more so now that he's getting long in the tooth for a tennis player. But he spent most of his career extending rallies. JJ hits for winners and while Duckworth can put away opportunity balls, I feel like with the windier/overcast conditions, it's going to make it harder for put aways, so the one who relies on consistency should prevail here. Duckworth has that gear if he shifts into it. I think people peg him as an agro/big server because of that serve but I also think it discredits his ability to grind guys down.
